„The property looked exactly the same as the pictures. Everything was in perfect working order and the cabin was exceptionally clean. „What a peaceful, tranquil setting on the Shell Rock River. We had a family gathering - 3 brothers and their wives - near where we fished with our Dad and Grandfather 60 to 65 years ago and spent the week sharing positive memories! Thank you for sharing the River House with us.“

„The property was great. Everyone enjoyed the antique feel of the grand old house while the necessities, kitchen and bathrooms were nicely update. We loved the dining room table that let all of us sit together. The entire property gave us lots of room. We enjoyed having a fire outside in the evening. The owner was so accommodating and thoughtful. We recommend the property.“

„Beautiful property. Had hoped the porch redo would be completed before our stay, but it's close and will be a comfortable spot on our next visit. All guests came to the breakfast table first morning talking about how well they slept both beds and pillows very comfortable. Having a table that fit all right of us was a dream. Very well stocked. Two crockpots, coffee maker AND Keurig. “

„Overall the Apartment Complex is very clean and our experience with the host was great. We had not problem managing the steps but could be a concern for some and the noise levels from the bar below on a Friday and Saturday night are an issue until the bar closes for the evening (mainly loud music). We did not spend any time here but to sleep at night and arrived after 10 pm each evening so the bar was hopping.“
