„What a peaceful, tranquil setting on the Shell Rock River. We had a family gathering - 3 brothers and their wives - near where we fished with our Dad and Grandfather 60 to 65 years ago and spent the week sharing positive memories! Thank you for sharing the River House with us.“

The host lives next door and was quick to respond to our questions but gave us the privacy we desired. The quaint downstairs area features an old fashioned kitchen, seating area with a gas fireplace, large dining area, private bedroom and a bathroom. The upstairs loft includes a large open sleeping area, game room and living room where the siblings all stayed. “

„Used for one night while we went to a concert at The Surf, so even we didnt enjoy the lake we could see it. The price was right. Perfect distance from the Surf. Enough room for 6 adults. Had everything you would need to entertain. Looks small on the outside but the inside had lots of space. “
