„We went for our anniversary for a weekend getaway. We had an amazing time or rest and relaxation. When we entered the room we had a nice surprise with chocolates and wine. The company communicated with us every day to ensure we had every thing we needed. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our room. They have a wonderful seafood restaurant (Tims on the Lake) next door within walking distance from the hotel which was perfect. I highy recommend this hidden gem! “

„We chose this property for a girls getaway, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The views were gorgeous even in January! It was easy to see the river from all bedrooms and the living and kitchen areas through big floor to ceiling windows. “

„We spent a fun girls weekend at the cottage. It’s exactly as described. Very cute and cozy. It was just far enough away from the bustle of the city but close enough that driving out to the heart of Charlottesville was only 20 mins away. The beds were comfortable and it had everything you needed. “

„A beautiful historic property and working farm, it was the perfect getaway for some lifelong friends looking to get away. Bill and Cynthia are wonderful hosts and the home has everything you could need. It is very large and can easily accommodate a large family or group event.We were even given samples of maple water from the frees, and farm-fresh eggs! We would definitely stay here again.Thank you Bill and Cynthia for a perfect weekend.“

„It was a nice house. There was a crack in the downstairs tub The hot tub was gross. I reached out to the person I was suppose to and she did nothing about anything I still enjoyed my family and the lake, but for the money paid, not sure I will choose this particular house again. Oh and I called for trash to picked up. Never happened we took it ourselves “

„We were visiting family iver the Holiday and needed our own place. This apartment wss heaven. It was close to everything, had free parking, was in a great neighborhood with exceptional views, lots of space, very clean and modern and had all the essentials. We were five people and had beds for all with space to seoerate. Also two full bathrooms was a great plus. The trails behind the building were also a great treat. „Our group was 12 girls and we had the best trip. This home is beautiful, clean, and big! There was a ton of space for us all and the view is amazing. The kitchen has most of the cooking supplies you would need and there are two grills outside with gas provided. There is a fun game room and two large sitting areas. „Wife and I were looking for a place away from the hustle that comes with NOVA normally, and especially the weekend of the inauguration. I must say we found the absolute best spot. Nelson county has always been a favorite spot for us to go to, but most of the time we have made day trips. „We loved the great-room just off the dining/kitchen area, as well as the boat dock for lounging and kayaking. Used the patio for grilling and campfire with s'mores. The location at the north end of the lake is a convenient launching point for area attractions. Couldn't really use the spare sitting room as a bedroom, but fortunately we didn't need it. Had a few minor issues, but the owner/host was very responsive. “

"Das war sicher eines der besten Hotels auf unserer Reise. Neu, komfortabel, freundlicher Service und tolles Frühstück. Die Lage ist das einzige was vielleicht nicht perfekt ist, aber mit dem Auto ist natürlich alles gut erreichbar. Wir würden immer wieder kommen."
