„We had a big group of 14 people and booked this property on Howe Island. The location was great. It was quite, remote and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The hosts, Courtney and Chris along with their kids were very hospitable and did a great job of hosting us. Would definitely consider this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!“

The property and cottage are both well maintained, with lots of room for guests, and lots of space to rest and relax. „Had a lovely last minute visit with 2 friends. Beautiful moonlight over the lake, meals on the deck and swims in the lake. We canoed, paddle boarded and biked in the area - 5 kms to the recreational trail. Ceiling in the loft is probably low for most adults. Scott was very easy to communicate with“

„Beautiful surroundings and everything you need to enjoy the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Our extended family was up and our cottage down the road was full. This was a wonderful space to be close to family and still have privacy, quiet, and all the conveniences of home. Well appointed, clean and very responsive host. If the situation arises again and we love our family so we hope it does - we won't hesitate to return. Well done!“

„Trust your GPS! The winding road to the cottage will get you there! Our adult family of 7 enjoyed our stay at Gabriel’s cottage. The hammocks were perfect for all sizes and we used the hot tub, volleyball net and fire pit often. As advertised there is no oven but the “baking bbq” did its job just fine. The hill to the lake is steep but once you make it down the lake is beautiful. Beds were clean and comfortable. My suggestion to the host is to make a few minor modifications for the perfect ...

„Das Haus liegt direkt am See und bietet sehr viel Platz. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Sogar ein Geschirrspüler. Das Haus war nicht ganz so sauber, was vielleicht daran liegt, dass jeder Gast bei Abreise die Böden selber wischen soll. Bei unserer Ankunft war das Waschbecken im Keller Badezimmer sehr verdreckt, deswegen haben wir dieses gar nicht erst benutzt. Das Handbuch fanden wir sehr gut, da dort alles, was das Haus und den Aufenthalt betrifft, sehr gut erklärt ist. ...

„This small cabin has your basic necessities and was just fine for my father and I on our last fishing trip of the year. I booked this location due to having a boat dock where I could keep my boat in the water. Unfortunately, late in the year they lower the water levels on the lake and our boat dock was not accessible due to the low water levels. Pretty much mud at dock with only 6" of water at the end where owners pontoon boat was docked. Any other type of fishing boat, including mine would ...

„Our family (5 adults, 3 kids and a dog) rented the cottage for New Years Eve! It was amazing! Easy to get to, and had everything we possibly could need! Forest had amazing communication with us and readily available if needed. Our hope is to be able to go back in the summer time.Thank you Forest for renting us your beautiful property! "Zwar ist das Hotel sehr neu, aber das nützt wenig, wenn das Zimmer nicht gut gereinigt wird. Wir hatten überall Chips Krümel im Zimmer und im Bad waren viele Haare - im Waschbecken, auf dem Toilettensitz und in der Wanne. Der Nachtschrank am Bett war total klebrig verschmiert und nicht gereinigt worden. Das Bett war ziemlich schmal und für zwei Personen schon fast zu klein. Dazu war die Matratze ziemlich hart, was sehr untypisch für Nordamerikanische Hotel ist. Das Frühstück war einfach nur schlecht. Das sollte sich das Hotel am besten gleich sparen. Wir würden hier nicht mehr übernachten !"
