„Cute cottage brought me back to my childhood cottage on the lake, but instead this was tucked away in the woods. The road is close, but you cannot see it or hear it as the house is set back. It served our needs & close to area's we wanted to visit. There was a note saying enjoy our complimentary bottle of wine which we could not find, but This was ok because we had plenty. „This is our second trip to this property, and it continues to be a stress free and relaxing excursion. The home is set up with everything you could want, and stuff you didn’t know you needed (like a towel warmer!). And the hosts are the best… friendly, organized, and just good people.“

„The Gate House served as a perfect place for our daughter and her bridal party to get ready for her wedding. There was plenty of room for the six bridesmaids to work with the hair stylists, makeup artist and photographer. The Groom and his crew had fun in the basement game area until the photographer was ready for pictures down by the pond. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to create breakfast for a large crew. “

„This was our 2nd time staying at this property, as we enjoyed it so much the first trip! We love that the cabin is quiet and private, while still being just a short drive to vineyards, lakes, restaurants and more. We did have to reset the router a few times as service would cut out, but that’s no biggie (and expected with the amount of wind when we visited). Such a wonderful place to relax, with all the comforts of home. We can’t wait to return for a 3rd time!“

„I honestly was looking so forward to getting away. She makes it sound so amazing in the overview. While the cabin is pretty much as pictured, the pond and property are not. There is goose poop everywhere the grass is overgrown. I should have known when i got an email the day of telling me now i have to bring my own propane tank.i asked her if it was completely secluded quickly after booking. „This is a cute old fashioned home. It was comfortable and meet our needs. The jacuzzi was a nice perk and was clean and working. The home has everything you need to cook for a family. The owners are quick to answer questions. Had a great stay here.“

„My sister and I stayed last weekend in October, lucked out with nice weather, enjoyed the green green grass of home cabin, had everything we needed, want to try one of the other 3 properties next year.“

„The cottage is very cozy and comfortable. The only thing I would recommend to the owner is to get a little bit more comfortable pillows and maybe trim the trees in the front so you can see the beautiful view while sitting down on the deck.“

„This property has a beautiful lake view with a fire pit to enjoy the serenity of the area. The space was warm and homey feeling. We really enjoyed our stay. My brother is handicapped and there was a very sweet lady named Cynthia who was working in the yard when we pulled in. She helped us with getting ramps for accessibility into the home.“

„Beautiful property! Easy access. Nicely decorated and fully stocked with amenities. However, due to the awkward layout, we would have been much more comfortable with privacy window treatments in the front porch area. Also, the shower floor is EXTREMELY slippery. We would definitely rent again. Hopefully with those 2 issues addressed. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us!“
