„If you like old houses, this one is beautiful. 220 years of the same family, and many of the furniture pieces are original to the house. The beds are all new and very comfortable. We walked to Glenora Winery, Tin Barn brewing, O'Begley's Distillery, and Fulkerson Winery and did tastings at all. The scenery is beautiful, and be sure to take a walk through the vineyards and up the hill for even more expansive views!! “

„Cute cottage brought me back to my childhood cottage on the lake, but instead this was tucked away in the woods. The road is close, but you cannot see it or hear it as the house is set back. It served our needs & close to area's we wanted to visit. There was a note saying enjoy our complimentary bottle of wine which we could not find, but This was ok because we had plenty. „We loved the “cabin in the woods” feel but also just being a short drive into town for everything. It’s a very cozy, comfortable place. It’s about 2 miles from Parish Hill Event Barn so if you have a wedding to go to there it’s a great place to book if you don’t want to drive home after. If you don’t have an SUV/truck, the driveway up might be a bit difficult as it’s quite uneven with large rocks and I did not see pictures of it in the listing or see that mentioned in the description. „Beautiful view. Hard to overstate how gorgeous it is. Host provides a lot of helpful mod-cons that we didn't expect. Only major issue is ticks! If you bring a pet, do not let it stray from stone driveways and make sure it's up to date on preventive meds. Our (always leashed) dog must have brushed some high grass on walking trails on property and had more ticks on her than I have ever seen at once. “

„Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed.“

„Had a wonderful weekend trip with my boyfriend and our dog. Clean house with all of the amenities. Short ride to Aurora (cute small town) and 1/2 hour to Ithica (hiking and city). Corner store and a couple of wineries nearby. Would definitely stay again when we can use the lake, but enjoyed the sunsets and beautiful mornings. “

„The cabin was absolutely perfect! The hosts are very thoughtful, providing coffee, cups, towels and bedding along with other amenities to make you feel at home! „It is a great location rain or shine. The central living room is undersold online as we have had groups as big as 7 indoors all day due to rain without being on top of each other. Everything you need for your stay is there, and if it isn't Mary is able to help. Really a great little spot to relax and enjoy yourself. “

„We had lovely week at this cute little house. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with everything to create a nice meal. The hottub was welcomimg after a long day of hiking. The location was in close proximity to the wineries and trails. “

„Its the cabin I've been searching for for years, Its very clean and the outside environment is very spacious. The outside bathroom was very clean. It does have solar powered lights but they dont last forever so bring lanterns, There is no running water so plan for that, There was evidence of mice so if that creeps you out then dont rent. Its very secluded so Animals are expected. Ive already rebooked. There was no coffee pot so i brought my own propane coffee pot because that porch was too ...

"Der Badezimmerboden war klebrig, das Zimmer etwas muffig und die Klimaanlage funktionierte zunächst nicht. Leider kam auch der angekündigte Techniker nicht. Das Frühstück war selbst für amerikanische Verhältnisse noch unterdurchschnittlich. Wenig Auswahl, schlechte Qualität, zu wenig Sitzplätze. Insgesamt keine Empfehlun auch wenn das Personal freundlich war."

"Während unseres Aufenthalts wurde der Teppichboden in unserem Zimmer unangekündigt nass gereinigt. Der Boden war feucht, als wir am Abend ins Zimmer kamen, die Koffer wurden auf das Bett gelegt und es roch unerträglich. Das Personal der Rezeption hat schulterzuckend auf unsere Beschwerde wegen des nassen Bodens reagiert. Es wird ausschließlich Plastikbesteck und -geschirr verwendet. Nicht zeitgemäß! "
