The boat house was being renovated, so they offered to put me in Yhe Pelican house. It was a tiny home, with a short small loft for a bedroom which had a ladder to access the bed. „This is exactly the type of property we were hoping for when we booked it. It is located in a very quiet country setting on the river front, but is still only about a fifteen minute drive to the downtown historic district of Nachitoches. There is so much to see and do, not to mention the great food choices at the local restaurants. „This apt was perfectly located for dealing with family in both Rapides and Cabrini hospital. The property is super cute, recently redone by the looks of it. Well equipped and stocked, comfortable and conveniently located. Owners were easy to get ahold of. Shower has crazy good water pressure. Only downside was the only bathroom is on second floor, and there isn’t really a sofa/living room. But not at all a dealbreaker and for the price and area, can’t beat it ! Would stay again.“

„I don’t even know where to begin with how great of an experience this stay was from the communication with the property manager to the wonderful home! We were greeting with a cake when we checked in, house was fully stocked with EVERYTHING, the location is AMAZING, especially for the fireworks on Saturday! I can’t wait to go back! “
