The boat house was being renovated, so they offered to put me in Yhe Pelican house. It was a tiny home, with a short small loft for a bedroom which had a ladder to access the bed. „We loved the property! Feels so remote but you are super close to town to go eat and shop and enjoy why you came to Natchitoches. There are six beautiful cabins that are elevated up on the hilltop with plenty space between to have privacy. With a patio and a porch swing so you can sit and relax. It is definitely dog friendly, and there is a wonderful dog, I think her name was Addie, and I believe she adopted us while we were there and I would have taken her home except how could you take ...

„It was a great place to stay at me and my son and grandson was able to hunt while my wife and my daughter-in-law was able to see the cabin and read books and they really enjoyed the atmosphere“

„First, we never intended to stay at this property. The original VRBO we had booked canceled last minute, because of flooding in that area. When we arrived, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, and beyond the normal comforts were available, should we need anything. We travel with all of our own blankets, and even pack laundry soap and dishwasher detergents, but had we needed for anything, the host had seen to every detail.
