„We enjoyed our stay, clean easy access, around the corner from downtown. Everything you need with the kitchen appliances. Nice bedrooms. Easy contact with owner if needed. One things, the balcony door needs to be better secured. Was very difficult locking the door, overall a good stay.“

„Excellent Christmas vacation! Our only issue was that our entry code did not work &/or the deadbolt did not retract properly. We spent approximately an hour trying to get in. “

„The cabin was clean and tidy, everything worked except for the hot tub, which was disappointing as the hot tub was one of the reasons we had booked the cabin. The owners called for a repair but it was a holiday weekend and I don’t think a repair was feasible due to the holiday.“

„We stayed for our honeymoon. Just so happened that we got snowed in! (Rare for Georgia). We had great communication with the owner, the property was exactly as advertised, instruction guide was detailed and easy to follow. We will definitely book again!“

„River Retreat was a great stay. Beds were comfortable, cabin was cozy, and conveniently located. The kitchen was not well stocked and the upstairs TV wouldn’t work throughout our trip. Everything else was great!“

„Wonderful place for my family of 5 to spend the end of our vacation. Had all of the amenities needed wonderful location close to downtown Helen. Can easily walk to most places in Helen without having to pay thr parking fees. Hope to go back in the Summer in the future to do some tubing.“
