„Wonderful camp, just magnificent views of the pond. The road was tough (unpaved), but it was so quiet. Again we went in October. Inside was very clean and nice, just like the photos they had on the website. We took drive to Bar Harbor very nice 👌 “

„This was a captivating setting. If we were to stay there for a few days, it would have been delightful. As it was, we were driving back from Acadia NP. We just weren’t prudent. We were up for indoor camping and maybe even the wood stove, but elected not to stay after arriving after dark…totally our choice. Another time, it would have been PERFECT. “

„The cottage was cute and well equipped. At first as we were driving there it seemed so far off the beaten path. As we ventured out the next day to Acadia National park we realized we weren’t that far away. It was about a 45 min drive. We do like to watch a little tv before bed; so, if you want a tv, there is no tv. We listened to our music. It was a little too cold to sit outside to do any star gazing. The view of the sunrise over Cadillac mountain was beautiful!“

„We rented this beautiful home for a girls trip. The property was very clean and spacious and we loved the screened porch dining area. The kitchen was well equipped with washer/dryer looked brand new. Coffee on the deck in the morning was lovely. It's very quiet and peaceful. We would rent again if we return to Maine. Property management was quick to respond if needed. So much better than a hotel!“

„We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. We loved it to stay there. The cabin has a lot of beautiful details which make you feel home immidiately. The kids loved the floor upstairs because there are a lot of toys for kids. Everything you need you have in this cabin. The Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are not far away but you are not in the touristic area and you have a peaceful and quiet place. The communication with the rental service was great. „Very, and I mean VERY quiet. The only thing we saw nearby were three deer that were in the yard and the woods next door, and we saw them nearly every day. And of course the birds! VERY close to the ocean. We were lucky when we were there as the ferry and a lot of restaurants close for the season, the following week. Very short drive to Acadia-Schoodic and about an hour to the main Acadia. Schoodic was deserted but the main one was packed. Our fault; we picked a day two cruise ships were ...

„We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. Although we brought an infant and a 2.5yo, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this property for such little/young kids unless you’re prepared for spotting them up and down the ladder. „Our group had a couple of unfortunate events upon our arrival and exit were all completely smoothed over by Aaron and his team through near instant communication and attention to detail that made our stay the enjoyable and memorable experience it was. The place is 10-15 minutes from Bar Harbor that made easy access to everything. The beds were great and the kitchen had everything we needed. When you have a host willing to go above and beyond, the VRBO vacations are all the better!“

"Etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber und gepflegt. Tolle Aussicht auf den das Meer und in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto im Zentrum. Gutes Frühstück und jederzeit Kaffee "to go" in Selbstbedienung. Nahe zum Nationalpark Eingang."

"Wir waren sehr zufrieden (große/ schöne) Zimmer. Wir hatten zwei Schlafzimmer (mit einem King- Bett für uns Erw. und ein Zimmer mit 2 französischen Betten für unsere Teenies). Bad war etwas klein, aber ok. Umgebung toll und nah zum Acadia NP. Frühstück war in Ordnung! Man konnte sich vieles kostenlos leihen (Beachchairs, Wanderstöcke, Stirnlampe) und es gab immer kostenlos Obst, Kaffee& Tee. Wir würden definitiv wieder hier buchen, Preis- Leistung stimmt! Thank you"

Location and service are ok, price too high

"Good central location, service is alright, rooms are clean and everything works. Furniture and interior are rather dated and only medium quality. Air condition works, but is very loud. Daily rate is significantly too high for the service and room you get. "
