„Traveled to Tx to pick up a puppy. Just a couple hours away from Lumberton and could not pass up the opportunity to stay here. Easy to find with the hosts flawless directions and ease of communications. Knew i would arrive late and self check-in was as easy as the hottub was warm and ready to sooth and soak the road away.. „Nice cozy place with good amenities like hot tub, small firepit, creek access for good fishing and comfortable furnishings inside the house. Our only small let down, if you can even call it that, was that the location was not as secluded as we thought. It's pretty close to town and the other cabins on the property are pretty close by which makes it feel not as secluded as we hoped for. Overall, I would say 8.5 out of 10 rating though. Thanks.“

„Everything was wonderful. The only drawback is the hospital heliport next to the hotel which gets noisy when they land, but I learned to ignore it and it usually didn’t last more than a minute or so. “

„This property is just as pictured. It is a cozy, lovely little place with views of the water as your constant companion. It is very quiet and truly “away from it all”. We loved having coffee on the front porch and watching the birds in the morning and having cocktails in the evening by the water with a fire in the chiminea. “

„We visit family in Beaumont and could never find a hotel we liked. This property made our visit so enjoyable, we might visit more than once a year. The house was clean and stocked with everything you need. Communication with property manager was flawless. Will definitely be staying here again. “

„My friend and I needed a base camp for a fishing trip on the Trinity River and a nice place to cook a nice dinner and relax at the end of the day. We were within 10 to 30 minutes of all the boat launches where we meet our guides, and came back to a well equipped kitchen and charcoal grill to prepare a nice fresh fish dinner. We’d sit on the dock dunking worms to end each evening. We will be back!“
