„The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that.“

„This cabin was exactly as advertised. Very spacious and so clean. There were eggs, muffins, OJ and milk in the kitchen, which was fully stocked with everything you might need to cook during your stay. The stairs to the bedrooms were a little steep and narrow for an older couple but otherwise perfect for our stay! “

„The cabin is warm and inviting. All the supplies you need are provided…kitchen and dining ware, firewood, plenty of blankets. The area is very peaceful. All we heard was the sound of leaves rustling, birds chirping and the fireplace crackling. It’s a short walk to take in the beauty of the lake and surrounding trees.“

„It was cozy with no major frills. It was fairly clean and we got mostly hot water, but there were few amenities. There was a washer but no detergent. We had to pay extra a night for a second guest, but received nothing for that extra charge. The bed was firm and we woke up to horses neighing in the morning. Also, watch out for horse poop when you walk to your car in the ’driveway’. It did take a while to warm up the pellet stove but then it got toasty. “

„The only downside to the trip was that we only had one night to stay. We would have loved to have stayed longer. My wife grew up just outside of Zoar and she actually used to babysit for the family who lived in this house back in the 90’s. She was very impressed with how you renovated the house but still managed to keep all of the old character. We will definitely be staying again in the future when we visit family. “

„I absolutely love this property. The cabin is unbelievable! So neat to stay in such a historic little nook. I loved the simple and accurate decor. The fresh eggs, muffins, fruit and snacks were such a nice little bonus. Highly recommend staying here and hope to be back myself!“

„We rented this home for a group of 10 friends and overall we enjoyed our stay. The theater room upstairs is by far the highlight, but the pool table and hot tub were also well used. The home is definitely a little neglected. It almost seems like a model home that was never lived in but the garage shows signs of a full time resident. „We had a very nice time staying at the cottage. Everything was clean and very well prepared for us. Highlights included the magnificent view of the beautiful Ohio river where we saw a few winter birds and large barge and wonderful deck outside.It was VERY quiet and peaceful during our stay, which is exactly what we wanted. „Excellent secluded cabin and great convenient location. Clear communication from owners and the place didn’t disappoint!“

„Very peaceful. The cabin was stocked with pretty much anything you would need. Almost zero traffic. It worked well for our family of 3. We had about 3 inches of snow overnight and it was nice to see across the hills. It is located on a gravel road but that's common in the area and we are used to it.
