„This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it was great. This property very well appointed and well maintained. It is a short walk to Main St. La Veta, which is very nice. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon, with the sun and the Cuchara River is very relaxing. It is a great choice!“

„Just loved the stay here. Almost don’t want to say to much because I would like to be able to always schedule here again. The place is beautifully appointed and run by Lavonne and she is awesome. Everything was top notch for a cabin in the woods. We got 3-4 feet of snow while I was there and Lavonne took great care of everything. “

„It was a great adventure for our family. But overpriced. We payed 400 Dollars /night, for this kind of money they should pay more attention to the details, like doing nice walkways and benches, putting out solar lanterns etc.. Also missed the usual litte sanitary bottles, tissues etc.. Mattress where thin and basic, toppers and duvets would have been nice.. (it gets very cold at night) the lobby was a mess. But staff very friendly. Many rats out at night, I was a bit worried they would come in ...

„We booked this home as it is posted as being in very close proximity to the Great Sand Dunes. While the VRBO posting indicates the home is 4 minutes from the park, it is actually over an hour drive. We did have a fantastic time. The property was beautiful and clean with the exception of fruit and house flies in the main living area. I would recommend it as a great get away relatively close to the national park but be sure to plan accordingly.“

„We enjoyed our stay in the RV, the host was attentive and it came equipped with everything we needed. My only complaint would be the location of the bed in the bedroom, it’s a full and up against the wall, I get claustrophobic so sleeping on that side of the bed was difficult for me since my partner gets up at night. Other than that we had a good time!“

„We have loved coming to Westcliffe to get away from Texas summers. This is the first time we stayed at Golden Heart Acres - it was the perfect space to relax, reflect, and reconnect. “

„Cabin was perfect for us. Very private. Beautiful property! Listening to the wind blow through the trees was just what we needed; so relaxing and serene. Heard elk calling at night! There were deer every morning and evening in the front and back yard! Everything was perfect. “

„The cabin was comfortable and well- appointed. We enjoyed just hanging out at the cabin after some beautiful hiking trips nearby. You truly have a beautiful place. Paul was very helpful with tips and good restaurant recommendations. Star Wrangler is a wonderful place to get away and relax in style.“

„Lovely, lovely stay. It all started with some very thorough, easy to follow directions from Patrick; we had no issues finding the site. The yurt itself is very cozy, made cozier by the simulated fireplace heater and the exceptional space heater. One downside was the middle zipper of the outer flap was not functional, but the zippers at the bottom of the dual tent flap worked just fine and some velcro (while maybe needing reinforcement) allowed for the flaps to stay closed even with high gusts of ...
