„My husband and I came here with the hopes of escaping and just enjoying a peaceful weekend. The cabin is perfect for what we needed. Cozy and comfy and just what we needed. Yes the couch is broken, LOL. But if a broken couch is going to ruin your vacay maybe this isn’t the place for you. Just saying that just added to the character and provided some laughter. “

„We stayed over Thanksgiving. Katie was kind and found local restaurants that would be open. The cabin was decorated for Christmas, cute and cozy. We were slightly disappointed the lake in the pictures was not on the property. “

„Traveling with a large family is never easy, but this rental made us feel at home. Full kitchen for cooking, dining area to seat everyone, huge tv, great wi-fi, washer and dryer, fun backyard to make s’mores, and beds upstairs to sleep all our kids. We would stay here again!“

„Coming from Texas, we wanted to experience the changing leaves and the nature trails in the area but were pleasantly surprised when we found ourselves staying on a plot of civil war history. Our cabin was delightfully cozy, and the creek was a very nice place to sit near for our morning coffee. The views of the mountains from the front porch as the fog cleared were impeccable and we have already saved this spot in our list of places to visit again. “

„The place was very clean and cute great location for visiting Elephant Rock, Johnson Shut in, Millstream gardens, many more things. House was as it shows the owners were very welcoming and informative. I would highly recommend the place it would sleep 6 very easy.“

„There were just some minor things like not being able to find the wifi, a few bugs, and the no cold water for the washer. Other than that, it was comfortable and quiet. I can see myself staying there again“

„Very convenient for nearby activities. Very clean, great kitchen, very nice bedding and towels better than most hotels. Efficient HVAC. Perimeter could be spruced up. Better mowing, rock in driveway, marking of property. Excellent interior, however, for the price“

„I chose that title because I spent a couple of summers at a Methodist church camp (Epworth Forest in Indiana) and that's what we called our daytime "base." „Had a hard time finding, because I forgot to read your instructions. Oops! But found it and was easy to get in. The trains in the evening where intersting to watch do maintenance. We enjoyed a couple new places to eat Thee Abbeys, and Iron Mule. Did Joe's canoe on the black River. Weather ended up being GREAT! Also did Elephant Rock and Johnsons shut-in. Perfect weekend! „We all loved the neat upstairs bedroom! The back yard was big and the kids really enjoyed playing out there. We all thought the beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. Without question, we will stay here again when we return to Ironton. “

„We came into town for opening weekend of deer season and need a convenient place to stay. We found this listing and reserved the home for the weekend. The home was clean and very welcoming and met all of our expectations. The owner was very accommodating and eager to help however needed. We enjoyed our stay!“

„Our family rented Bluebird Meadows for a weekend get away. We had a great time all three days. Place was everything we were hoping. “

„There have been some changes since the property pictures were taken. For instance, we were pleasantly suprised to see a full size bunk bed, but no recliner or gas fire pit outside(which was no big deal at all just something we noticed) Property and Porta-potty were clean. I'm glad I packed like for when camping as there weren't paper towels, paper plates or trashbags available. Which we could have bought at Dollar General or wal-mart had I not brought them (so again, no big deal). We didn't ...
