„Enjoyed the quaint little cottage on the River. Close to Wheeling and local winery which we enjoy. Clean and welcoming atmosphere in the cottage and the host was friendly and we had good communication. Pizza Express is just down the road for takeout and we liked their fresh homemade dough.Overall a nice experience at this location.“

„The property was well maintained and stocked for our stay as a family of 6. It was nice to have the living rooms and kitchen space for our four kids. Everyone had a bed and enough room to sleep. Host was great with communication and ease of check in and check out. The bathroom was clean. The smoke detector was placed at a location on the wall right where the oven opens, and there was no stovetop fan, so cooking meant the detector went off many times. „Requested an extra day at beginning of reservation (for family wedding) due to husband's discharge from hospital. Our children started to arrive the next day from Arizona. then New York and south central Pennsylvania. Being close to the wedding venue let other family members visit with my husband as he was unable to attend the wedding. We were there during a couple of snow storms. Drive way was plowed early the morning after each storm.The host was extemely accommodating to our situation.“

„Surprisingly spacious basement apartment. The owners clearly put in a lot of effort to make it feel warm and inviting. It was very clean and had clearly been recently renovated. All of the furnishing were new and comfortable, and the rooms were pretty big.It's pretty far outside of of the city, near Fort Cherry HS. And up a dirt road, which was a bit tough in the snow. But maybe that's because I'm from Carolina.“

„We rented this home for a group of 10 friends and overall we enjoyed our stay. The theater room upstairs is by far the highlight, but the pool table and hot tub were also well used. The home is definitely a little neglected. It almost seems like a model home that was never lived in but the garage shows signs of a full time resident. The biggest concern was privacy, as there are no curtains or blinds on any of the windows. The hot tub was murky and had debris. Little things were missing in the ...

We are conflicted, we want to keep it our secret little hide away so it stays open for us, but the hosts and house are so amazing we had to leave a good review! 10/10!“
