We had some maintenance items come up and notified the owner immediately. They were very responsive and on top of anything we contacted them about. „The view was incredible! I loved having coffee each morning and listening to the waves, very peaceful. My husband and i used this trip to celebrate our 40th birthdays. The host had a boutique of flowers and card wishing us a happy birthday on arrival. Overall great stay! Taking the ferry to Galveston was free and a fun adventure. We skydived at Skydive Galveston, excellent experience!“

„The perfect Hideaway/ Getaway. Only stayed one day unfortunately.. We Will definitely be back for a longer stay.. This place is everything you want in a littel Retreat.. And the host is amazing.. „We picked this house because of the ocean-front location. We were not disappointed during our 4 days 3 nights stay-cation. The house was extremely clean when we arrived. It actually passed wife's clean white socks test when she walked around the house. The host was extremely helpful and replied very quickly. Make sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, soap and beach towels though. Definitely looking forward to going back again!!!“

„The place is nice, has a well-appointed kitchen, nice beds, furnishings, and bathrooms. A few issues that could be addressed include: shaky bunk bed, empty Dorito's bag under one bed and a Cheeto under one of the sheets in another bed, not enough TP, and WiFi never worked. But we did enjoy our 3-night stay! “

„We needed a little break from everyday life! Our happy place is the beach. We loved this house as there was plenty of room for all of us(11). The loft upstairs was a great place for the children to play and hang out! they loved it!. The room setups were great for traveling with young children as we were able to set up pack and plays and not be crowded. We loved it! “

„I rewarded my family for their help to a vacation on Bolivar and Galveston. My grandchildren got to see the Gulf for the first time. They all had a blast and loved the house. Practically brand new and clean as can be. Great trip. Thank you. “

„Perfect for just 2 or 2 adults with children. Even though the walk is not far, we enjoyed renting a golf cart to get "stuff" to the beach and just riding around.“

„The stay was great, the pool and hot tub was a hit with the kids and grandchildren / location was perfect and we will probably do the same type of beach house next year. “

„Very nice, clean, comfortable bedding and many kitchen appliances. Views and beach access is excellent. Be sure to take extra paper products (towels, TP, etc) and extra soap for both washing machine and dishwasher. Very little is provided. Only disappointment was cargo lift not accessible. Would have been much easier for these retirees to bring in groceries if had access.“

„Our team of 25 stayed at these two homes for a work retreat. We had a good stay at Solara Sands, enjoying the homes (especially Dawn) and the new kitchen. The homes were clean and had been recently renovated due to a fire. The outside space and seating were also useful. I reached out during our stay to the home's manager regarding a few issues we had during our stay but some were left unresolved. Three sliding doors didn't close on bathrooms. The person they sent out to fix this issue wasn't ...
