„We really appreciated the size and spaciousness of the log cabin, and our ability to host Thanksgiving dinner for our extended family. The setting above the Missouri was gorgeous as well. Amanda was a fantastic host and had everything ready for us when we arrived, as well as promptly answering a few questions as we got settled. Highly recommended!“

„This property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were even able to cook up a Thanksgiving dinner. It was centrally located close to bird hunting (the grasslands), shopping, and eating. There were several good restaurants nearby to enjoy. It served well as a home away from home. We appreciated having a pet-friendly rental with a washer and dryer. Both are not easy to find. We loved the area. The host was very attentive and easy to work with throughout our stay.“

„This was the first time for us to come back to Pierre in many years, having grown up here and now living in Texas. It was delightful to find out that we were staying in a house that belongs to someone who knew our father from "back in the day." He even dropped in for a little visit! The house had everything we needed to be comfortable for the week - washer/dryer, full kitchen (we cooked breakfast every day and supper at least twice). „Originally booked for 4 nights for work ln Pierre. Got done early and unfortunately couldn’t ancel last 2 nights. Stan the property manager was a delight. However, air conditioning was not available and the apartment was quite warm and the smoke from Alberta wildfires made it difficult with the windows open. Outside and overall neighborhood a little dumpy but we were not there for leisure so not a big problem. Overall, would likely stay again.“

„Nice little place with modern appliances, a good shower head, Roku TV, clean, and very well stocked. I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway. Nice place with an even nicer ...

„Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site.“

"Staff was not there on arrival and was not greeting us. We arrived at 7pm and our two rooms were not ready although check in was at 3pm. The choice at breakfast is only basic. Staff is unfriendly. "
