„We had a fantastic stay with friends! The house was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable trip. The host was incredibly understanding and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend and stay again!“

The front covered deck a lovely space to enjoy outdoor dining & the perfect spot for my Mum to read her book. The beds were comfy & the highlight was the community heated pool.“

„This property is exactly as owners and guests described. Perfect for large families. What we were most grateful for was all the quiet nooks and crannies that you can escape to for some quiet time. „Nice and close to shops and only 5mins to town. Very clean! Bonus, it's on a side street so nice and quiet. Pool available but we didn't use it. Bed was firmer than I'm used to, but was fine for 2 nights.“

„Accommodation was great. Nice and quiet surroundings. Kayaks were included in the price. Well equipped. Only towels and linen you needed to bring. It depends on the people who used it before if there is soap and rubbish bags, etc. available or not. Fruit trees to use :) Fast and good comminication with the host.“

„Zentral gelegenes Hotel, Strandnähe. Nahe gelegene Restaurant „The Cove Cafe“ ist sehr zu empfehlen. Apartment war gut ausgestattet, mit kleiner Terrasse. Pool und Whirlpool wurden umgehend zur (exklusiven) Nutzung zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch Sally, superfreundlich und hilfsbereit. “

„Die Ferienwohnung besteht aus einem kombinierten Schlaf-/Wohnraum mit offener Küche und einem Duschbad. Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet (Waschmaschine vorhanden), Dusche/WC mit Pflegeprodukten, sieht beides sehr neu und gepflegt aus. Schöne Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln, Sonnenschirm und tollem Blick aufs Wasser (wenn es da ist ;-) Sogar ein Kanu wird gestellt. Parken auf dem Grundstück. Lage ist etwas außerhalb von Whangarei, aber mit dem Auto kein Problem. Dafür ist die Natur mit Wanderwegen etc. ...

„The cottage is in a nice peaceful location. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck with a coffee in the morning listening and watching the birds. The cottage is basic. It could be cleaner. But it is your typical kiwi style bach and it has what you need. “

Good hotel choice in Orewa

"Overall good hotel right at the water. We had a room without sea view, quiet with parking directly in front of the room. Bed was super comfy, however the room could've had a little more thought put into it. There were no electrical outlets next to the bed, plus the switch for the night stand lights could not be reached when lying in bed. The windows could not be closed, so we had bugs inside. The bathroom did not have a fan to expel the moist air, which causes problems on the ceiling. In addition to that, the joints in the shower could use some extended cleaning or replacement. Overall good (8/10) but some room for improvement."

"Schöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Hausvermietern, die alle Wünsche von den Augen ablesen. Waren früh vor Ort. Sofort haben sie alles gemacht, dass wir schnell einckecken konnten. Das Frühstück am Morgen wird auf Zimmer serviert! (bei vorabendlicher Bestellung)."
