„Friendly lady reception staff at the Hotel Arcs where we collected our key for our apartment 604, receptionist walked out of hotel to point to the green garage gates for our secure parking which was underneath the apartments and a couple of minutes walk away. The apartment was spacious and light, kitchen a bit tired but more than adequate, plenty of utensils and very clean. Only used the one bedroom, bed was firm which suited us, white cotton sheets. „The house was very large, clean and tastefully decorated. It had a beautiful terrace with an impressive view of the sea, the bay and the town of San Vicente. Alicia, the landlady, always answered all questions promptly and helpfully. Cira, the supervisor in San Vicente, gave us helpful tips on site. We highly recommend the house and the village of San Vicente.“

„Difficult to locate, parking is a long walk away up and down cobble-stone streets, check-in is complicated, the apartment name is not as advertised, the nearby church bells sound on the hour. Given the cost and problems it is not good value for money - better to stay at the nearby Parador. Can fully recommend Santillana.“

„Todo muy muy sucio, muebles antiguos y muy usados, sofas incomodos, se hunden, colchones incomodos, ropa de cama desastrosa, television con muy mal sonido, de los baños mejor no hablar de lo sucios que estan, lo mejor la terraza, amplitud del piso y situacion.“

„Herwann is a very nice host, the location and the layout of the house are great. Unfortunately, a few things are getting on in years and need a refurbishment. and the cleanliness was also a bit lacking, we found stains on the bedding and blankets. Also the lanai was basically unusable as it was completely filthy. This was a great pity, as the location and layout of the accommodation are perfect. and: there were obviously mothballs in the bedrooms and wardrobes which gave off a really unpleasant ...

"Wir waren 2 Tage in diesem Hotel. Es biete eine kostenpflichtige Tiefgarage, mit etwas Glück kann man kostenfrei an der Straße parken. Das Hotel ist sehr groß, das Zimmer war gut, geräumig und sauber. Etwas viel Nippes (viele Kissen, Deko, …) und leider eine Mücke. Das Personal ist geschäftsmäßig freundlich. Wir würden wiederkommen."

Naja, nicht überzeugend…

"Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Zu teuer für was man bekommt. Das Spa-Wellness müsste man extra bezahlen (30€ und zeitlich begrenzt). Dies sollte in diesem stolzen Preis inbegriffen sein (zumindest ein Mal). Aussenpool ist ok, jedoch ohne Bedienung und ohne proaktiv angebotene extra Badetücher. Ausser der Rezeption spricht niemand vom Hotelteam Englisch. Fokus liegt augenscheinlich auf spanischen Touristen. Sie haben sich auch nicht Mühe gegeben langsam Spanisch zu sprechen."
