„In die Jahre gekommene Hemlock Lodge mitten im State Park. Am Hang gelegen und mitten im Wald, viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen aber wenig Blick. Gute Betten aber Möbiliar und Badezimmer sind alt zuweisen zahlreiche Gebrauchspuren auf. Alle Zimmer haben großen Balkon. Leider nicht allzu sauber. Im angeschlossen Restaurant gab es sowohl morgens als auch abends Buffet. Preiswert aber auch nur allenfalls durchschnittlich gut. Die Natural Bridge kann man zu Fuß in einer 3/4 Stunde erreichen. „I was taken with the coolness factor of staying in a former factory, but underestimated the inconvenience of having no lobby, nowhere to sit while waiting for room, etc. No early check-in, no late check-out. The room was nice looking but freezing (probably the downside of the brick building. All in all I wish I’d stayed at a more standard hotel. “

„Dogs, husband and I had a great sleep in this charming cabin. Hot strong showers, comfy king size bed and plenty of kool antiques to peruse. Only nego was there were only flavored coffees for the Keurig. Yuck. For the price you can’t beat this place in the area. Thank you. “

„Wanted to spend a couple days doing bourbon tours. This rental fit the bill. The neighborhood is on the run down side, but felt secure. The house has a ton of old time charm with dark wood accents throughout. The three king beds were comfortable, and the house was as described. A full bath up and a full bath down. Overall, an excellent place to stay. We highly recommend! Two restaurants- The Stave and Locals Pizza- were very good. “

„It makes no sense to stay in a hotel when this unit is available. Perfect for a single or couple. Close to Chevy Chase and downtown. Very clean and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Dru is a first class host. Very attentive. “
