„Our stay was amazing. We came here over the winter to go ice fishing. We were within minutes of driving distance to one area or of the lake. You could also walk out directly from the cabin to fish. Such a great neighborhood very clean. The cabin was cozy and adorable. Had all of the amenities you would need to stay away from home. The host were great also.“

„The property was very clean and tidy. Our stay was during the coldest weekend of the year (-15) and the heat kept up nicely. Thank goodness for the extra space heaters. If you're ice fishing, or if you come during the summer with a boat, there is a boat ramp (lake access) very near the property. This came in very handy for us. The sunrise view over the lake is absolutely breathtaking through the wide window view to the East. “

„We stayed here for a few days because of the location to family. The house was great. The kids left the other house and came here to play board games. The king bed is in an open space in the basement but is soft and incredibly comfortable. “

„We had a great time at this lake house. The home had everything we needed. It was very clean and well kept. The rooms were spacious - especially the kitchen where my family tends to congregate. When we arrived we were welcomed with a thoughtful array of sourdough bread, various spreads, almonds and treats. “

„Overall, our stay was wonderful. A beautiful cabin with amazing views. Property manager was so thoughtful to set up a cute little Christmas tree which brought a nice warmth and coziness to the environment. The only challenge I experienced was needing to do a very small amount of cleaning upon arrival (kitchen floor, coffee pot, & dog dishes).It is a very well kept property with great amenities and very dog friendly. Would love to visit again during the summer months. “

„My father and I chose to stay in Brookings during a recent ice-fishing trip. The house was perfect. It has a great kitchen, comfortable beds, and a very responsive host. Close to SDSU, restaurants, and a grocery store. We enjoyed the historic home and relaxed atmosphere.“
