„I picked the home because of the large screened porch. And it did not disappoint; peaceful and comfy. I spent hours out there with a book. We were surprised to learn the house is mostly underground which makes it quite unique. We were also surprised to find the on-property gun range and out door gym. Be sure to check out all the springs located nearby. And finally, the owners and property managers were very responsive and helpful. “

„Such a fantastic place for peace and quiet. Location is well maintained and spacious outside, cozy and comfortable inside. Local springs in the area should be added to your things to do list. Crystal River is just shy of an hour away, an easy drive and worth the trip during manatee season. Would recommend this cottage as an excellent "home base"!“

„This house, the host, and the trip was awesome. We had neighborhood friends, family, and kids with us. There was room for everyone, great large kitchen area. Access to the private part of the Ichetucknee was so nice! The Stambaugh’s our great hosts, we can’t wait to do the same trip again next year!“

„The house was beautiful and very roomy for our 12 family members. There was a bathroom in every room and the two balconies were screened in plus the short walk to the dock where we kept our boat. The weather for the week was perfect for scalloping and we achieved our limit in scallops each day, we will be back and will rent this house again “

„I've always enjoyed staying here. This stay was great. The communication was easy and they were very responsive. I noticed several upgrades and the home looks and feels great. I was happy to see the home survived the brutal storms last year relatively unscathed. It was a very cozy stay with all that we needed. Thank you. “

„Our stay was wonderful! The house is spacious with a well stocked kitchen, views of the river even through the kitchen windows, huge fireplace, cozy chairs on the river dock, warm central heat and an easy check in process. The only thing that would have made this place better is if there was a fenced in yard , otherwise it was perfect. I highly recommend this place! “

„Very comfortable, spacious and clean. Relaxing and fun for the whole family. Views are picturesque during the day. Host is very responsive. Drive to the house is adventurous with the dirt roads. Decking in need of small repairs, slippery when wet and icy. Front door lock took getting use to. Overall, 9 out of 10, definitely recommend “

„We loved staying at the Tipsy Turtle. The Ichetucknee river is one of our favorite places to visit. We did multiple float, snorkel, & kayak/SUP trips all from the Tipsy Turtle dock or the TREPO parks. We'll definitely be coming back.“
