„This was a great location for exploring the shore. There was easy access to both Duluth and the North Shore parks. It provided plenty of space for the 6 of us. We were able to gather together for family time and spread out when we wanted to get our homework done (2 college students and a teacher in the group). Be aware that it is on a well, so depending on what you are use to, you might want to bring bottled drinking water. “

„We gifted our parents a stay at Shawn & Edward's property for the second time now for Christmas. They both came back saying it was incredibly relaxing and cozy, they enjoyed the proximity to North Shore sights like Split Rock lighthouse, the Onion River, and other hiking trails, and the sauna was wonderful. I know they would love to come back.They also really enjoyed their interactions with Shawn & Edward and were thankful for their warm welcome. I also want to thank Shawn & Edward for helping ...

Beautiful grounds and view.Would rent again in any season.Just FYI in case you need to fix before future guests: Remotes for two of the TVs did not have batteries in them or did not have working batteries. We purchased batteries but could not get tv above fireplace to work beyond the opening screen. Wanted to watch something during the big storm. Not sure if remote was broken, but we are all tech savvy people and couldn’t get past the splash screen. “

„This cabin was a nice cozy cabin with enough sleeping room for the six adults we had plus we had one more bed for a single. It was located where we needed it to go further north or to go into Duluth. It was great. We came back one day and there were just four deer roaming around the property and the other day when I woke up there was one peeking in the window. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend. If I was gonna stay at Christmas, I would bring Christmas decorations. ...

„My husband and I made a last minute trip up the North Shore for his birthday. The condo definitely had way more space than we needed but it would be absolutely perfect for a bigger family. Very clean and very cozy. Plenty of towels and kitchenware. We loved the jacuzzi and fireplaces. If it had been warmer outside the patio would have been perfect to hang out on and listen to the lake. Gorgeous views. We might make this an annual trip! “

„This was our second stay at Camp Amnicon. We stayed in Quietude last year, but booked Sunset this year because the three new ones weren’t available. It was great!! We think we might like sunset/sunrise better because they feel much more private, and we didn’t need the bigger space of the newer cabins. So cozy - we love the fireplace! “

"The mattress of one bed was totally broken. That’s not what I expected when I book a room. Those essential things should be checked by the management regularly. Wi-Fi could be better on the balcony. The other amenities in the room where good, these would be a 3-4 star rating."
