„I've stayed here twice before with friends and family, due originally to proximity to an annual event in the area. This time, we came just for the Cabin, and got a chance to enjoy things our busy schedule hasn't let us do before; exploding the path along the creek, resting by the firepit, etc. The area is as gorgeous in the Autumn as we'd hoped, and the care that Anita puts into preparing the Cabin for guests is evident everywhere, and very much appreciated. „Great property in New Wilmington but not to far from New Castle shops and restaurants. The property has a great layout with comfortable furnishings, it was perfect for the 4 of us. Everything was in working order and none of the furnishings were overworn. We will recommend to friends and we will stay here again when visiting the area.“

„If you book this property make sure you don't leave anything valuable in the house when you leave and expect to get it back. My son left his brand new Iphone 15 thr during our stay for Thanksgiving and the property managers still have not returned it to us. After contacting them several times and them saying they was going to mail it out here it is Jan and we still have have no phone. It was not like I was asking them to pay for it. „Requested an extra day at beginning of reservation (for family wedding) due to husband's discharge from hospital. Our children started to arrive the next day from Arizona. then New York and south central Pennsylvania. Being close to the wedding venue let other family members visit with my husband as he was unable to attend the wedding. We were there during a couple of snow storms. Drive way was plowed early the morning after each storm.The host was extemely accommodating to our situation.“

„The property is absolutely beautiful, and the generous windows bring the forest to you. The place was very clean. The kitchen is well-provisioned and we did a lot of cooking with no limitations. He provides filtered water so you don’t need to bring water bottles. Loved that it was dog friendly. We will be back. “

„The house was clean, easy to check into and was spacious. The beds were really soft and comfortable and the big seating area in the living room allowed us to congregate to talk and hangout. It was very well stocked with shampoo, body wash, paper towels, toliet paper, laundry soap, coffee, spices and almost anything else you could have wanted. There was plenty of parking for 4 - 6 cars behind the house. Our only mishap was we ended up being double booked on our last day and had another family ...

„We had a perfect stay at the Stambaugh Farm. It had all the trimmings including a Christmas tree for the holiday! We got a blanket of snow right on time and my southern boys had a blast throwing it at each other in the yard. The historical charm beckons another time, but the rooms were amply warm and cozy. Our host went above and beyond. If you are visiting the area, do not hesitate to make this your home base. “

„This place was perfect for our extended family gathering over Thanksgiving weekend. We had 12 adults and 7 kids (ages 1 month - 8 years). We had ample sleeping rooms for all of us, and the large dining area easily accommodated our crew. The living room with three large couches (we swiveled one from the fire place room around to the LR) was also a really nice gathering space. We used the game room lots. The kitchen was well equipped and we prepared and served a large dinner for the holiday. “
