„What a wonderful property! We loved the privacy of our site and the outdoor area was so fun and relaxing for my partner and I! The hot tub was a hit for him and provided much pain relief and I loved having the ability to cook on the griddle/grill combo! We met Wes on our way out and had a wonderful talk about the area and local culture- he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We both hope to be back for another visit soon! “

„We stay at a lot of VRBO's and AriBnB's and this was by far one of the nicest, cleanest, well stocked places we have ever been. They have thought of everything as the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. The pictures don't do justice. We went for Thanksgiving and also celebrated Christmas as well with our 6 kids and grandchildren. They went over and above and put up a Christmas tree for us so we could celebrate with our kids. „Long ago, my grandfather farmed the land across the lane from Denton's place, and there is no landscape more precious to me. The green hills and the blue, blue September sky took me back sixty years. Denton is a kind soul, a wonderful poet, and a gracious host.“

„We hiked up to Tri-State Peak and had a fun time just being together with family. Lots of time for board games and sitting around the fire pit enjoying s’mores. Only issue was with overflowing and overturned garbage can. Host responded quickly and trash was picked up off ground but can remained full from previous guests so we had to keep our trash inside. “

„Overall good. Major problem with heating. Thermostats difficult to regulate.Some areas very cold others too hot. Property manager responded quickly. Tried to adjust room vents. This didn’t improve the temperature control much.“

„We had a great time. The cabin is exactly how it is listed online. Beautiful space outside with plenty of room for kids to run around. We really appreciated the fence that keeps kids from running down to the water. We would definitely stay here again “

„This home was very clean and well supplied with things a VRBO should have. We loved the home layout and got lots of use from the beautiful boat dock. We happened to have very beautiful weather, which made our stay that much more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again - thank you! “

„Relaxing“

„We had an amazing time on the lake and staying on this floating house. The house was as described and listed and the location was easy access. The ramp was a little steeper then we imagined so maybe including pics of the boat landing would be helpful! “

„Black Dog Lake House was exactly as advertised. A nice property located in a secluded cove on Norris Lake. Well appointed, with separate living spaces for the adults and our teen son (who had the downstairs 'man cave' to himself). We really enjoyed the visit!“
