„First, let me say this is not a cabin. The listing was a bit misleading if you are expecting a cabin, this is a townhome. That being said, it was lovely! Overall clean and well kept. The only thing we didn't use was the whirlpool tub as it didn't look clean. If you plan to do any cooking, the supplies are pretty basic (no baking sheets) but for stovetop cooking we were all set. None of that is said to dissuade people just to be informative. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!“

„We were looking for a spot where we could hang out as a family of 16 coming from 7 spots around the US and Canada. This house worked well with plenty of bedrooms for adult children couples with ensuite bathrooms. Large bunk room for children, in door game/activity space and lots of outdoor space with a great pool for activity. The kids loved the over-the-top palace feel of the mansion. Kitchens were very functional as we ate every meal in. Lots of places to sit and eat. Company was very good ...

Was the perfect lodging for us and our two teenage kids - perfect proximity to the state parks as well as being able to connect with family/friends who were staying at Grand Bear. „Based on the pictures you would think this was a simple but very nice home. However, once we checked in, just from the outside you could tell it has not been kept up. The deck is worn and weeds and trees are growing along side it. Inside, there were numerous things wrong, including a strong smell of cat pee that was in the hallway and got stronger in the bedroom. „The Villa was amazing! Downtown Utica was a couple miles away, Starved rock was just as close. Grand Bear lodge was also very nice. Our host was great. We can’t wait to come again!“

„We stayed here during ISU Family Weekend. Good proximity to Normal. It does sit at a 4 way stop, so there is some traffic noise. Some of our friends tagged along and there was plenty of room for everyone. Will stay again. “
