„We have wanted to get up to the Pine Creek Valley to bicycle thru the PA Grand Canyon gorge. The cabin was perfect with the bike trail on one side of the property and river on the other. It turned out to be a little chilly to be on the trail everyday but the days we got in were perfect. “

„Booked the cabin to do an online course for work. Cabin was so cozy sitting right on the river. Evenings out by the fire pit looking up at the stars. Location was amazing. The Pine Creek Valley is a little hidden gem. “

„This is our 4th visit, 3 in the winter and 1 in the summer. Winter is our best time as we make fires in the fire pit every day (weather permitting) . We walk the trails with our two golden doodles and they sometimes have more fun than we do!! I’m an avid hunter and love to shoot guns. Great time away!!! We will be back!!“

„We had a wonderful long weekend in January! Didn't get to see many stars because of snow, but the snow day in and of itself was a welcome break from our normal lives. Note for future winter guests that the lock was pretty stuck when we got there due to the cold, so you may need to use a bit of muscle to get in if it's been very cold. But the owner was responsive to my texts/calls, and all was fine once we realized it was just stuck.The cabin itself was lovely and we had a very comfortable couple ...

„This cabin was so clean. It was wonderful. Located on the main highway, however we never noticed any traffic noise. We were even out in the backyard with a fire. The location to the Rail Trail and Pine Creek was literally a walk through the yard. The property is very well maintained and very clean. „My family and I decided to getaway for the weekend. Obviously, the dead of winter is most likely not the best time to go to Ricketts Glen, but it certainly fulfilled our needs. The cabin had everything we needed and things that were up our alley, like a dated TV and DVD player (oldie but a goodie), foosball table was clutch, and the fireplace was essential.
