„We liked the cottage very much. It was cosy and had a wonderful view to the River Colne. We found everything we needed. We had 2 trips to London, 1 trip to Flatford Mill, to Wivenhoe, the beach of Mersea Island , to Cudmore Grove and we visited our Englisch friends in West Mersea. It was a great adventure, even our grandchildren loved it.“

„Super authentisches, weitestgehend im Originalzustand befindliches viktorianisches Reihenhäuschen. Dicke, alte Holzdielen, Bleiglasfenster, stilechte Möblierung mit Sinn für Details! Der schicke, gußeiserne Kamin im Wohnzimmer ist leider außer Betrieb, aber Die Heizung tut ihren Job sehr gut! Die Küche ist auf dem neuesten Stand - incl. Induktionsherd! Einzig einen Geschirrspüler gibt es nicht... Die Nachbarschaft ist (zumindest für deutsche Verhältnisse) etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig....aber ...

„The caravan was very clean on arrival. The host had left cleaning products for us. The beds were made and also extra bedding. Clean towels were available. The host called before we arrived to let us know she had left ice lollies for the children and some crisps. There was also things like ready meals, tea, coffee, sugar and sauces. Also a bbq to use. “

„I recently stayed at this house with friends and family. In total, we were 8 adults and 7 children ranging from 1-15 years old. It is a very big and comfortable house. It is in need of some TLC, the decoration is old but that is shown in the photos and reflected in the price. The heated indoor pool was amazing and saved our holiday as it was raining most days we were there. There were also many inflatables in the pool which was a nice touch. Everything in the house works, oven, hob, hot water, ...
