One of the housekeepers, even though there was a language barrier, she was extremly helpful and did her absolute best to get what we needed despite us speaking different languages! „We were looking for a space to just get away and spend time together. This met that need. The hot tub was the selling point for us. However, we didn’t do research on what a mineral hot tub is and it had a smell so we didn’t use it. That’s our fault. The location does allow for pets and there was a bit more hair in the kitchen than anticipated. Otherwise, great little get away. Thank you for having us!“

„The property was amazing with so many fun outdoor activities including, but not limited to, frisbee golf (we used a football), fishing (catch and release and pretty good-sized fish!), hot tub, frollicking and traversing the property. The hosts were more than responsive and the place was immaculately clean. Our kids (7-9yo) had a blast and didn't want to leave, neither did we!“

„Very remote feeling but only 5 miles from town. This place is a little gem, with all the amenities and then some to make sure you feel right at home. We appreciated having somewhere close to our kids to be able to have a holiday dinner with. The sound of the river while outside was so peaceful. And we walked down to it to skip rocks. „This place is perfect for getting to and from Fort Leonard Wood! We enjoyed the time in the family room, just hanging out with our Soldier for family Day. There's not very many seats, so we had quite a few on the floor or brought the chairs from the kitchen for games. Check the cabinets before you buy ingredients for dinner. It's very limited. We used a lot of creativity while cooking dinner. The beds were amazing and the convenience to the base was perfect! “

„The house was very nice and homey. The hosts left a nice variety of soaps and lotions in the bathroom and snacks, coffee, and tea in the kitchen. There was an issue with the heater. The hosts did try to fix it but it was out of their control. Overall a nice stay.“

„Selected a weekend in December for a short cabin stay. We got really lucky with mild weather and we were even able to enjoy the fire pit one night. The cabin was as advertised. Very good cabin feel. The kitchen was fully stocked and Caroline confirmed ahead of time on a couple items we needed to cook with we’re already there. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a cabin getaway to book this listing.“

„We stayed here with Friends for a wedding for three nights. The check in was quick and easy. One bath, especially only one toilet, for four persons can be difficult, but we arranged ourself good. To eat: Only two chairs for four persons (bessing for five persons), so we decided to eat on the couch. The beds were in bad condition, they made loud noises with every move and they were not quite comfy.“
