„We could not have been more pleased with our stay in Vandalia! Haley was a wonderful host, very friendly and accommodating! We were centrally located to all the nice shops and restaurants and right across the street was the historic old state capital, which is a must see. The people in Vandalia were all very friendly and we had a wonderful time! “

„This is our second stay at the Nest. We love everything about it. House, Beach, Shade, Outdoor Play Area. The property managers are easy to reach and responsive. Highly recommend a stay here. “

„We rented the Nest too. We had 8 people there and 11 at the Aerie. Each couple was able to have their own space this way. Adults didn't have to give up their privacy. At the Aerie, the living space, kitchen and rec room were spacious. We were fortunate to have perfect weather so we were outside all day and into the night. The outdoor space was fabulous for outdoor eating and "playing". We all give this venue A thumbs up!“

„Four of us stayed here for the eclipse. The place was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were a lot larger than I was expecting. The nearby trains can be a little loud, however the host was prepared with earplugs for sleeping and we all slept well. It is an easy walk to downtown and restaurants. I recommend La Fuente, or Joe's Pizza. My only suggestion would be for more comfortable chairs in the living room.“

„The tiny house was well furnished and comfortable. Our host was accommodating and communicated well. It is very close to I-70 and the traffic hum is steady, but we got used to it and it didn’t interfere with our enjoyment of our stay. “

„We were only there mostly to sleep and shower. The one shower head wasn’t working properly and the only other thing was that I lost an earring and had to look under my bed. It was caked with dust and hairs. If I would’ve had a long duster I would have cleaned it. Thank you for the chips and water!“

„Our team had an absolutely marvelous time for our staff retreat. A home of this quality could have been on any lake in the country. It was spacious, comfortable and outfitted with everything we could have needed. The design was immaculate. My only encouragement would be for a faster response time to questions.
