„Absolutely great place to enjoy the peace and serenity of a lakefront retreat. Hugely spacious A-frame house with kitchen and baths that contribute to your comfort. Hosts, Donna & Paul, offered friendly waves & hellos, there if you need them, leave you to yourself if you choose. We stayed with our 12-year old standard poodle (we adopted him five years ago) and he and we enjoyed the large property and the wonderful deer passing through. Great place, highly recommended. „Very enjoyable, quiet and relaxing stay. Sam and Lize are great hosts who made us feel right at home. This location is fairly remote with stores or restaurants 20 to 30 mins away so just bring what you need. We even had some luck fishing from the boathouse on a rainy day and caught several nice crappie.“

„All I can say is WOW! Frank and Linda are absolutely great folks and the view from the back porch was beautiful! Linda was so thoughtful and had baked muffins, cookies, and an anniversary package for us! Btw her baking skills are level 10! I very much enjoyed visiting with Frank at our check in. The proposer was PEACEFUL exactly what we were looking for. We will 100% be making a return visit to this gem in east texas. “

„The home is a peaceful and serene area very close to the lake. We spent a lot of time walking the area, enjoying nature. We spent one afternoon in Jefferson, which is only 30 minutes away. The beds were comfortable, and the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in each shower were convenient. The kitchen had most of the items we needed, and the Ninja coffee maker was excellent. We were sad to leave and are already planning a trip back!“

„We stayed for a night with our 2 children. The cabin is fully furnished and have everything we needed. The patio is wonderful, we enjoyed having breakfast and diner there with a view on the bayou. Two canoes were available with the house and that was wonderful! We recommend!!“

„There were 5 couples staying at the house and there was room for everyone! There were 3 bedrooms and 1 bath upstairs and 3 bedrooms and 3 baths downstairs. Sooo much room for everyone! The back patio was plenty of room for everyone to hangout together and the kitchen was spacious for all of us to sit around and play card games. We had a blast! Rebecca was a wonderful host!“
