„Celebrated an 84th birthday with my mom, brothers and a few friends. Caught fish, grilled steaks, played with the dog and should have reserved for the whole week Definitely a winner! Plan on returning again.“

„We have vacationed in Lake Gaston for 5 years. We absolutely love this area and the beautiful lake. However, this was our first year at ‘Floating and Boatin’, and it beyond surpassed our expectations. The home is so beautiful. The views of the lake make mornings on the porch heavenly, and the dock with its many toys impressed all of us from age 4 to age 76! I could go on forever…By far one of my favorite stays at Lake Gaston. Thank you Edie and Steve for a wonderful core memory vacation. “

„Wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pat’s Place! Our family enjoyed many meals out on the spacious deck . We enjoyed watching and hearing the wildlife. A great yard for games like badminton, frisbee, sling shot glow in the dark “spinners”. Plenty of room for our adult children, spouses and grandkids. We liked the private location and spectacular view of the night sky. Our host was easy to communicate with regarding questions , needs and places to visit/eat. We did not get a chance ...

„Spent 4 nights with adult children and 5 grandsons aged 2 and under. Plenty of space for all. Of course had to keep close eye on grandsons when close to water, but great floats, pedal boat, kayaks, canoe. Built a fire most nights. Good time together.“

„It was very nice place but need to get rid of ants , the back porch was full of big black ants . they were in my car when we left . Other then that the stay was GREAT !!“

„Dawn was very accommodating and very responsive. The main living room /kitchen area was a great space to share family time together. Everyone enjoyed swimming in the lake, using the canoe and paddle boat! We enjoyed a day of golf as well! A great place to build lasting memories! “

„It was a friends and family gathering. Nice place and surroundings. Right on waterfront. Can’t complain how easy it was to access water. Kayak’s, paddle boards, the biggg floating mat all added to the fun. Great property. We had good time. An opportunity to reconcile property manager clean up instructions to what was posted inside the property. I ended up paying a cleanup penalty on top of heavy cleaning fees paid upfront because of this confusion. On checkin bathroom trashcans were not ...

„We had a great time at Songbird View! The house was perfect with an amazing view. There was plenty of room for our family to space out and enjoy themselves. The kitchen had everything we possibly needed for our stay. We enjoyed lots of our meals on the deck. The kayak and paddle board were great for our children and the adults to enjoy. The extra boat slip was a nice touch to use for jet skies.“

„13 of us stayed at this house for 4 nights. We all had plenty of space to spread out and come together. The lake access is fantastic. There are so many amenities, even an ice maker. We loved the huge hot tub that overlooks the water and outdoor fireplace. There are plenty of cold storage options. We highly recommend staying here!“

„We’ve spent a decade on the Lake and we had another wonderful trip! THANK YOU to Mary who was a fantastic hostess from the very beginning – wildly responsive to messages, checked in on us every few days, provided recommendations in the area, and greeted us with flowers / coffee / chocolates at the house. She was spectacular! Some of our favorites: view of the lake from the sunroom – we enjoyed all our family meals here; the coziness of the fire pit and it was really nice to have the firewood ...
