„The campground is being updated as it used to be a church camp. Cabin #1 is a cinder block cabin with 3 bedrooms, one shower/toilet/sink room and a common area for relaxing and eating. It was well decorated and comfortable. It has A/C and a couple fans. They thought of everything when they updated this place. The building with the restrooms is also a comfortable place to play games or watch movies. We were able to kayak and enjoy the river easily. We are looking forward to coming back again.“

„We're com again “

„Very nice and very cozy. Functional, quite, and clean. The kitchen is well equipped, not everything but enough to make due. No need to make calls during the week because something was not working or had broke. Fall colors where peak, playing golf on the Royal was superb, and kayaking on Lake of the Clouds magical. Would stay again.“

„Chad was a great host. Home is perfect for a golf group or a family wanting to enjoy the lake and outdoors. Home is very clean. Tons of fun amenities for adults and kids. We’ll be scheduling another trip next year! Golf courses in area are amazing. Be sure to include Pilgrims Run along with Tullymore and St. Ives. “

„The view was perfect and the house was the perfect accommodation for this group. The sprawling lawn was a nice bonus for playing games and getting sun. My suggestion would be to get more rugs for the deck as that deck gets way to hot and put in the ladder for use because it’s hard to get in and out of the river. It was nice that the boat had everything we needed in the kitchen. My only concern was how dusty it was. Overall great spot to go with a large group and friends!“

„Cozy lake house. Large yard, perfect for yard games, grilling, or a fire around the fire pit. Bonus that yard games, a grill, and the fire pit are all provided! Additionally, having access to the kayaks and life jackets was fantastic. And the neighborhood cats (Jack Jack & Tig) were a big hit with our son!“

We’ve never stayed somewhere with the same “specialized amenities!” Thoughtful extras were provided by the host; welcome snacks, coffee with creamers and flavored syrups, laundry pods, toiletries…. Would stay again and recommend this property to anyone looking for a special night away! “

„Absolutely superb perfectly prepared and maintained mini-mansion in the woods! Easy wading, lots of fish. Hard to leave at the end of our stay.“

„We had a wonderful time at this Sand Lake house. Everything was perfect from the impeccably decorated home to all of the amenities. Being right on the lake is wonderful, and Sand Lake is not too far from other destinations like Grand Rapids and Lake Michigan. (Would recommend The Forager for lunch or dinner which is only 10-15 mins from the house.) We rented the boat which made it extra special. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a family getaway. “

„My wife and I booked the house for an anniversary weekend and it did not disappoint. It is in a very quite and peaceful area and is a great house for relaxing in. Getting to enjoy the wildlife in the backyard while just standing in the kitchen as well as the wildlife seen on the short walk to the lake was a plus. Getting to see the fall colors starting to show as great as well. The screened in porch is a great place for some outside relaxing that still has light if you want to be out there ...

„Stayed here for a couple of days to spend the weekend fishing for steelhead on the Muskegon River. Accommodations were great; ample space for my husband and I, well stocked, clean and fun decor! Cozy and cute. The fishing was great too! Will definitely return.“
