„This was a great spot to stay with my wife, another couple, and my dog! The house is small - especially downstairs. But it is extremely well thought out and space is used as effectively as can be. Upstairs had 2 good sized bedrooms with king beds and a nicely renovated bathroom with a great shower. The house is located in a small, cute, and a bit of an unusual neighborhood. Very quiet. „Amazing property and relaxing weekend! 😄 Host was accommodating and responded promptly. Disappointed with accuracy of listing regarding the spa tub and picture/listing of canoe. Planned a canoe day and was unable due to no canoe on property. Dog loved the yard and enjoyed her stay too! “

„Von Aussen nett, Innen eine Katastrophe. Altes abgewohntes Mobiliar, der Teppich klebrig. Alles ist renovierungsbedürftig, Schranktüren defekt, überall sieht es aus, als wenn versucht wurde was notdürftig zu renovieren. Und es mufft moderig. Definitiv nix zum Wohlfühlen. Der Empfang war dafür aber nett und herzlich. Parkplatz und Frühstück waren inklusive. Klassisches amerikanisches Continental mit einer warmen Eierspeise.“

„We all liove the various Connecticut shore towns, and Ild Lyme was delightful. We revisited some favorite spots, and discovered a few new ones. The vintage appliances were particularly nice to find, and looking at old photos, we realized that the original cottage was really 100 years old!“

„My family and I went to the Southamptons for our Christmas vacation. Since it was during the winter we didn’t try out the on-site tennis court or pool. The house is gorgeous and looks exactly as advertised. The host was in communication from 2-days before we arrived until checkout to assist as needed. We brought most of our gifts and a pop-up tree. Gutes Hotel mit gewissen Abstrichen

"Für eine Gruppe von 6 Personen hat man uns zwei große Zimmer nebeneinander mit Verbindungstür gegeben, sehr schön! Die Zimmerausstattung geht in Ordnung, wobei die Duschwanne vielleicht nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß ist, ebenso wie der Umstand, dass man teilweise länger warten muss, bis das Wasser warm ist. Beim Service muss man hingegen Abstriche machen, eine reguläre Zimmereinigung lässt sich das Hotel tatsächlich extra bezahlen, ansonsten erhält man nur eine "Basic"-Sevice. Den Bewertungen nach zu urteilen gab es früher wohl mal Frühstück, mittlerweile allerdings nicht mehr. Warum Parken im angrenzenden Parkhaus für Hotelbesucher teurer ist als für alle anderen Kunden haben wir auch nicht nachvollziehen können. "
