„AWESOME stay - so great we decided to stay an extra night. Kasun is amazing and put us in touch with people that helped us plan our 3 week stay in Sri Lnaka. Extremely spacious apartment for a low price. Even included a washer inside the apartment which was really nice to do laundry. Close to the airport and not a far walk from restaurants. Nice park neaby with volleyball courts, track and more sports with locals nearby. Will definitely stay again before departing from Sri Lanka! “

„Die erste Nacht nach unserer Ankunft in Sri Lanka haben wir in der Villa Shade verbracht. Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit offener Gartendusche. Es ist alles sehr sauber und der Eigentümer sehr bemüht. Die City von Negombo ist ca. 10 Minuten mit dem TukTuk von der Villa Shade entfernt. Tuk Tuk und Taxi wurden organisiert, wenn erforderlich. Alles in allem eine gute Adresse für die ersten Tage in Sri Lanka.“

„We rented this property thinking that we were renting the whole house as advertised. It turns out that that this house is a hostel as per the sign out front and we were given one room. After some discussion with the owner we were given three rooms. The owner had not been paid by VRBO and I had paid VRBO one month ahead of time. „The property was exactly as it appeared online; clean, spacious, and with a spectacular view. I felt safe with the gated entry and 24 hour security. I was also able to get to and from Colombo, the major city, in about 20 minutes each way--and used the local taxi app to do it. I'll stay again. Sweet experience.“

„One of the worst hospitality service ever. Won't get a towel, bedsheet or toiletries. No cleanliness and smelly dusty rooms. No room service. Swimming pool with decayed leaves and house full of mosquitoes. Broken room locks and the bonus is you won't get water in toilet. Needless to say a poor management by owner and totally irresponsible behaviour. Please don't waste your money by looking at beautiful pics of the villa. Save your money for better stay. Even worst hotels will give better ...

„I tried contacting the host on numerous occasions and did not get a reply once. Due to this, we decided to stay at another hotel that was given to us free of charge by the airline. I would advise anyone who is thinking of booking this hotel please think again.“

„Clean, pristine, welcoming place. The owners were extremely helpful and hospitable and very easy to communicate with. The staff are professional, courteous, friendly and super helpful. They go above and beyond. Kalena, Poornima (staff at front desk) are amazing and do what they do with respect and passion and happiness. "Wir waren nur für eine Nacht vor dem Heimflug da; sehr freundlicher Empfang, trotz unserer frühen Abreise am Morgen wurde uns ein reichhaltiges Frühstück serviert! Der Transfer zum Airport hat ebenfalls super funktioniert!"

"Das ist niemals ein 5 Sterne-Hotel. Das Hotel ist mehr als in die Jahre gekommen. Uralte Holzfenster und Türen, im Bad starker Schimmelbefall und nicht funktionierende Rollos. Das Personal war jedoch super freundlich und hilfsbereit, was jedoch leider nicht über das total veraltete Hotel hinwegtäuschend konnte."

Un séjour agréable, le service à améliorer.

"Bel hôtel, bien situé, très belle décoration, nous avons eu une très grande chambre avec le jacuzzi, au calme. Par contre le service au restaurant au rooftop pas top. Le serveur était un peu perdu. Il s`est trompé de commande, le manager devait régler l`affaire. A la réception le personnel un peu mal réveillé. A améliorer le service, autrement tout bon."

"Die Ausstattung des Zimmers und die Gastronomie waren sehr gut. Gutes Angebot und Betreuung von Sonnenliegen. Schöne Pools. Meist sehr freundliches und engagiertes Personal. Nur eine negative Bemerkung : Das Ballspielen und die Verwendung von Luftmatratzen sollte im Pool untersagt werden."
