„This was such an amazing last minute find for us! We were visiting DC (the museums were about 35 minutes away but felt like 20) Silver Springs (15 minutes) and Rockville (about 25 minutes felt like 15). The hosts were so kind- we almost cancelled because some travelers were sick and they were accommodating to figure a plan. „The house is not bad and it’s simple in a great location. Has what you need for a stay.Small issues added up for us. Front door is not lockable from the inside so my kids kept opening it and running out. The bedroom doors lock and from the outside require a key so my kids enjoyed locking the doors and I couldn’t get in. It looks like those that don’t own the property clean it but the outside shows anyone that cares for the property hasn’t been there in a while. A window shutter was broken off ...

The apartment is within a 10-minute walk of the Silver Spring Metro station, as well as of two supermarkets and numerous restaurants. The neighborhood was reasonably quiet and felt quite safe. I would recommend this property without hesitation.“

„My family and I came in for an event at the University of Maryland. This Verbo was an excellent choice for us. The location was perfect. The check-in process was easy with clear communication with the owner. The place was clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed. I would recommend this place and stay here in the future“

„I had a delightful stay in a basement apartment in the owners' home. They are very generous and are great communicators. They did everything to make sure my stay was first rate. On my last evening there, they even gave me snack bag for the trip the next morning. Enjoyed my stay.“

„The house had some quirks, but overall it fit the bill. It’s not in the best part of town, but I always felt safe. There were some electrical issues with some things not working in the kitchen, but the contact was helpful and sent someone to look at it, but it wasn’t a good time for us since we were putting kids to bed, so we just told them we were ok not to fix it until we left. He did also send trash bags when I mentioned there weren’t any. Overall, it met our needs, and we had a nice time!“

„Terrible owner- terrible communication, terrible stay all around. BEWARE of this OWNER- they have a number of suites in the area and they get you to commit then they are not helpful or responsive. SERVICE SUCKS I have asked to speak to a manager everyday and they refuse“

„ Host's wife and sone took mebto the ER when she was dropping off my sheets (thatvhe forgot). They were lovely. Nextbday or so, I locked the apparently Only key insside about 9 pm and he was alowbto respond and had no spare key, so I went to a hotel.“

Not as good as 18 months ago

"Had a room up on the 6th floor. Hot water could hardly call "hot" and the hot water pressure was very low and sometimes (when other people were using hot water as well?) down to a trickle. I tried using the Keurig coffee to make a cup of tea and the water came out with bits black stuff, even after the 5th rinse. So finally decided I was not so desperate for a cup of tea.... I had stayed in this hotel 18 months ago and it was much better back then-"

"Bei 33 Grad Kühlschrank defekt und keinerlei Bemühungen des Managments. ansonsten top. Sehr sauber das Hotel, Putzfrau 10*. Hotel liegt direkt neben Metro und in 25 Minuten ist man am Weißen Haus am WE für 5,00 Dollar (2x2,50) plus 2 Doller für die Karte. Parken 26 Dollar am Tag, sollte man fest mit einplanen in der Tiefgarage. Im Hotel ist auch noch ein Starbucks. Kurzum 1-2 Nächte absolut top, du brauchst kein Auto und kommst direkt bei den Denkmälern raus👍"
