„First off, the scenery is beautiful, right at the New River and the cabin itself was very clean. The reason for only three stars were the bathroom facilities. There is no running water in the cabin itself and the water in the communal bathroom had an unpleasant smell. The showers need an update as well. I'm also glad that I asked about linens, because it was not clear in the app that those would not be provided. This is a glamping experience.“

„The pictures do not do justice to this beautiful cabin and property. The cabin is very clean and so comfortable with lots of space for everyone. The wrap around porch is gorgeous. The outside spaces including stone fire pit and wooden hill top swing are added bonuses. Check-in instructions were easy to follow. We reached out to the owner once and got a very quick response to our question. This was a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to everyone!“

„Cool cabin, peaceful and quiet. Very basic items were provided. Bring your own kitchen and bath items, like baking dish, spices, cooking oil, condiments, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, etc. Washer and dryer in the bathroom was convenient. You have to hand wash dishes since no dishwasher. Trout in the pond are used to being fed with fish food rather than hunting for natural food. Lol. Saw couple turkeys and couple deer around the pond. Lots of birds and squirrels.“

„Easy to get to, quiet remote-ish lake locale with full time residents living on same lane. Lake access is accurate - this lake and most residents have many stairs and this one was no exception but owner described this so no surprises there. The Kitchen and main living areas are on separate floors with entrances for each so was not an issue for us- each have access to decks. One of the upstairs rooms has private deck perfect for morning coffee and view of cove. this is not direct access to lake ...

„Roughly 2 hour drive to the mountains. Inexpensive getaway to the mountains and to see Roanoke Va for a long weekend. Trails near by. Restaurants and downtown are not to far away. “

„Nice little cabin on a farm in Floyd-very responsive hosts, on property with goats, dogs, chickens and a horse. We got to interact with the animals as well. Would recommend for small families or couples! “

"Das Zimmer war super toll. Sauber und groß. Leider muss ich mich den vielen Bewertungen über den Lärm der Straße anschließen, den man sehr stark hört. Hier sollte das Hotel ggf über eine Renovierung der Fenster nachdenken. Dennoch würde ich jederzeit wieder in dieses Hotel gehen."
