„In die Jahre gekommene Hemlock Lodge mitten im State Park. Am Hang gelegen und mitten im Wald, viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen aber wenig Blick. Gute Betten aber Möbiliar und Badezimmer sind alt zuweisen zahlreiche Gebrauchspuren auf. Alle Zimmer haben großen Balkon. Leider nicht allzu sauber. Im angeschlossen Restaurant gab es sowohl morgens als auch abends Buffet. Preiswert aber auch nur allenfalls durchschnittlich gut. Die Natural Bridge kann man zu Fuß in einer 3/4 Stunde erreichen. „The hand drawn map they gave us was hard to follow and when we got lost on the mountain, they were less than helpful. The one lane road up the mountain has steep cliffs and not many places to pull over or turn around. Once we arrived the cabin was so relaxing and the waterfall was beautiful & serene. The jetted tub was very relaxing. We ate all our meals at the cabin & their cookware was very nice. The stove was old, but worked fine.“

„We loved our stay in this cabin. It was spotless, well stocked with everything we needed. Spacious first floor area and nicely decorated. Beautiful views with the fall leaves. Wish we had more time to spend at the cabin, but we will definitely rent again. Easy drive to Morehead State. “

„Stayed 2 nights here for our 30th anniversary. First time to the Red River Gorge area. This little cabin (it's actually a shipping container which is unique) is perfect for two people. Everything you would need is thoughtfully included. Very clean and modern interior with a rustic exterior. The hot tub and fire pit are perfect after a long day of hiking. „This little cabin was everything we expected the second time visiting! We visited two years ago and had to come back because of the serenity and seclusion! It’s convenient for quick needs of you forget anything! We visited the Red River Gorge which was about 45 mins out. Perfect weekend getaway for relaxing and site-seeing. The host was perfect! Accommodated all of our needs and was very kind and personable. “

„We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was mostly private (a few other cabins within eyesight). The cabin was clean and well kept when we arrived. The kitchen had most of the utensils that we needed to make our meals and had some available spices. The hot-tub was clean and fairly private. I would recommend to bring an extra role of toilet paper as there are only two smaller roles provided. „This place is good if you plan on being out adventuring and exploring all day and just need a place to sleep and shower. It is small so there isn't really a place to just hang out inside but it is a really good value with all the amenities you need. The cabin is close to pretty much anywhere you want to go in the Red.“
