„Property is in a well located area close to beach and shops/restaurants. Everything is walking distance. Room was clean and the one bedroom apartment was very spacious. It had a separate living/kitchen area and large bathroom. The only drawback was the mattress was very hard and can do with an update.“

„Nice and cosy, with all amenities available. The only issue, which wasn't big but hopefully taken on board by the hosts, was that we didn't receive any check-in instructions. We got an email from whatif advising to contact the host for instructions, but the number provided wasnt valid. Thankfully it was unlocked, so could let ourselves in and keys were in the unlocked key safe.“

„The cottage is set on a cliff top behind a gun emplacement at the rear of Portsea Camp and only has spectacular views from the viewing area above this emplacement and not from the cottage itself. The property wasn’t ready when we arrived at 2pm. The beds hadn’t been stripped and remade. The property has a carpark at the front which fills as locals head to the beach every day, traipsing across the Portsea Camp grounds. The camp goers are loud and intrusive and the maintenance people retrieve ...

„The property was lovely and exactly as described. It was clean and the 2 bathrooms were a real bonus. Our dog loved exploring the backyard and our 10 yo daughter spent plenty of time relaxing in the hammock. It was the perfect place for an Easter getaway and we'd happily stay here again!“

„The kitchen and bathrooms have almost everything we need. There are a lot of things for the little kids and teenagers to play with; however the house has no air conditioners and no fan in the main living room, yet we stayed there on 2 very hot days (30C degree) so my brother had to drive all the way home to bring portable fans and air conditioner there (he had to be in the car for 6 hours in total that day). I think it would be better if the owner installed fans or air conditioners in the main ...

"Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmergröße war super. Leider hatten wir trotz verschlossener Türen und Fenster in der ersten Nacht mit vielen Fliegen und Käfern zu kämpfen. Die Ablage in der Küche sowie die Kabel der elektrischen Geräte (Toaster, Wasserkocher) klebten sehr. "

Schönes Hotel mit Schwächen

"Unsere Erwartung war doch luxoriöser und dem recht hohen Preis entsprechend gut. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, das Gebäude auch sehr schön. Trotzdem konnte das Hotel nicht ganz überzeugen, es nicht sauber genug war und das vollmundige Versprechen eines besonderes Früthstücks nicht eingehalten wurde. Das Frühstück war "guter" Standard. Wir hätten mehr Vielfalt erwartet, tägliche Abwechslung und auf einem Weingut auch ein Gläschen Sekt. Preis / Leistung haben insofern nicht gepasst."
