„It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. “

„Our stay in Newport was very comfortable in the three bedroom, two bath space. The kitchen and living room were just as pictured and in great shape. Parking across the street was a great bonus. The third bedroom (downstairs) was very spacious, but a bit drafty since it opened to an unheated storage area and outside. The second bath shower was tiny for my 6'3" frame. Great restaurants, and coffee shops close by. Chris is a wonderful host.“

„The property could not have been better as a place for our family to gather for a wedding. It was centrally located for easy walking, while the parking was a godsend when we needed to drive. The first floor is a great common space, while there are lots of bedroom options upstairs. Only disappointment was that the double bed mattress in the northeast 2nd floor bedroom sagged into the middle more than even the happily married couple wanted it to. Might be worth considering replacing it. Otherwise ...

„Mary Ellen is kind, helpful, and responsive. Check in and check out were so easy. The house is huge! We had 6 adults and 4 young kids and had more than enough space for our group. We could spread out as needed or all be together comfortably in the main living/ kitchen space. The kids loved eating at the big round table. The house is in a great location for exploring all that Newport/ Middletown have to offer. We would definitely stay again.“

„Solo weekend retreat at this idyllic 8-acre Christmas tree farm was quiet and a nice re-set / nod to simpler times. Visited in January and it snowed while I was touring the farm! Perfect set-up for one person or a couple. Would actually move in permanently - it was that lovely! Location is right near four corners/groundswell, so you are equal parts secluded and connected to local shops/cafes. There were even goats, one of which I nicknamed Tom Brady. „This was our second visit to the property and it was just as great! The house is spotless and gave our 2 families plenty of space to both have space and join together for meals. The weather wasn’t the greatest but the house was toasty warm due to the gas fireplaces in each living room and we could still see the water from the third floor.“

„The property and location were great. Family of 12 comfortable accommodation's with private baths, even the 2 pullouts are basically private rooms with baths. Main living area handled the group fine, dining area was configurable for the group by putting the tables together. The down side was 2 bedrooms had no heat at all (55 degrees at night) split units in each room must be AC only, one room uncontrollable heat (near 80 at night) and two with scalding hot water.
