„Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Da es im Zimmer keinen Kühlschrank gab und leider auch keine Eiswürfelmaschine auf dem Gelände, wurde uns mit Eis für die Kühlbox ausgeholfen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Bad war etwas abgewohnt. Schönes Gelände mit Sonnenliegen, Sitzbereich und Grillmöglichkeit.“

„Very serene, beautiful setting. Just didn't work well for me not to have running water. For the rather high price of lodging, I wanted a little bit of luxury. Would be perfect for someone who prefers accommodations that are a bit more rustic. “

„Mazama is west of Winthrop in Washington state. It is BEAUTIFUL! The mazama pub is excellent! There are miles and miles of amazing trails to hike, ride, cross country ski, fat bike, etc. We loved the location of the cabin. It suited our needs, and we'd stay there again. “

„Both adults and kids had lot of fun at Oroville House. An excellent property with lake views. Kids spent most of their time in outdoor pool and the gaming room; and so did the adults. Bocce ball and game of croquet was liked and played by all. Although we did quite some cooking but it was fun especially the wood fired pizzas. It was our first time and probably the last time as well cooking in a wood fired oven. ;) One night we went for star gazing like a Mile away from the house. And that was ...

„Great location, beautiful views, lots of privacy, hospitable, comfortable. Hosts were extremely receptive, accommodating, and professional. Although they live on the upper floor, we never saw them. But they were readily available with friendly communication lines always open. Amenities were plentiful, with everything we needed and then some. Great attention to detail. House and property were immaculately clean and tidy. We would happily return and highly recommend. “

„This place was a great location for wine tasting & close to Chelan for boutiquing. If you like softer tissue for your nose & heinie, then bring them along. Great view. Road noise during the day & into evening if you are a light sleeper in the front bedroom, anyway. Nice place overall. Very helpful owner.“

„We enjoyed our stay. We have 5 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. The separate living area was nice for the kids to each get their own space. There is a slight view of the water between the two homes in front of the vacation home. Short drive to the pool house. Tons of room in the house. „The house was perfect for our needs and the lake access was amazing! We lost power for a few hours one morning (no fault of the hosts) but they promptly took care of it and we were quickly back in business. Hosts were polite and helpful but let us have our own time on the dock/lakefront - though we would have been happy for them to join us. House was clean and exactly as shown in the photos. I would definitely come back!“

„The location was perfect! We could walk to the main festivities, the hot tub was perfectly hot, and the layout of the condo was perfect for 3 couples. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back!“

„We did a family vacation at this property and we had 6 adults and 5 children. The house was amazing, there was enough room that we were able to have separate areas for everyone. The pool was great and the grand kids were thrilled that they had their own pool. The kitchen had everything you needed and then some. We were able to watch the Olympics on the projector screen and that was great. We want to thank the hosts for renting their house and sharing it with us. Hoping to come back and do it all ...

„We had some disappointing things occur during our stay starting with no BBQ on the deck. The listing wasn’t clear that the BBQ was communal, especially with the posted pictures of the deck with two BBQs on it. The internet was out off and on the last few days of our stay and the Keurig broke. Overall these were overcome with a great time on the lake and we enjoyed the location of the property. “

Fine stay in Winthrop despite poor service

"Very relaxing stay - in se the hotel is very comfortable - pity that the service in the restaurant and at the reception was poor / that’s were as a guest you know you are not dealing with a family run hotel - staff is there to do the job and make money - restaurant food and service ia poor - hidden costs of 25 usd per day linked to „amenities“ which means you pay extra for the pool and the WiFi, independent if you use them or not. Poor communication at check out! "
