„Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Da es im Zimmer keinen Kühlschrank gab und leider auch keine Eiswürfelmaschine auf dem Gelände, wurde uns mit Eis für die Kühlbox ausgeholfen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Bad war etwas abgewohnt. Schönes Gelände mit Sonnenliegen, Sitzbereich und Grillmöglichkeit.“

„Very serene, beautiful setting. Just didn't work well for me not to have running water. For the rather high price of lodging, I wanted a little bit of luxury. Would be perfect for someone who prefers accommodations that are a bit more rustic. “

„Beautiful home. Gorgeous scenery. We brought steaks to grill, only to find that there was no propane. Sent a message but no reply. Also, we only had two small kitchen garbage bags. There were no others in the whole house. Limited amount of towels and there was no coffee for the coffee pot. Normally coffee is provided.“

„My husband and I stayed here for a quick fall getaway. We were thrilled with the location and particularly the hot tub right at the lake’s edge. The house is a little dated and minimally outfitted but spotlessly clean. Kudos also for a great selection of vacation reading. We weren’t looking for luxury - we were looking for the hot tub and the view and we definitely got that. “

„Very nice, clean and comfortable unit. Location was good a short walk to the lake/park. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. “

„This house was perfect for my family. It was a little outdated but everything works. People complain about the furniture being old but I thought it was great (broke in and comfy) location perfect quiet not to close to anyone else but super convenient to store, shops and boat rentals. Basketball hoop outside and ping pong table awesome along with pool. A couple bad things was not a lot of pans and baking dishes and knives are not good at all. Family and I definitely planning to return next year“

„This place was perfect for our family of four. We really liked being on the lake and being away from the busy-ness of chelan. It was quiet and peaceful. I love to open water swim, so being away from the busier boat traffic was great. Very good for sup too. The house was lovely, had all the amenities we needed, and stayed relatively cool in the heat. „We had some disappointing things occur during our stay starting with no BBQ on the deck. The listing wasn’t clear that the BBQ was communal, especially with the posted pictures of the deck with two BBQs on it. The internet was out off and on the last few days of our stay and the Keurig broke. Overall these were overcome with a great time on the lake and we enjoyed the location of the property. “

Fine stay in Winthrop despite poor service

"Very relaxing stay - in se the hotel is very comfortable - pity that the service in the restaurant and at the reception was poor / that’s were as a guest you know you are not dealing with a family run hotel - staff is there to do the job and make money - restaurant food and service ia poor - hidden costs of 25 usd per day linked to „amenities“ which means you pay extra for the pool and the WiFi, independent if you use them or not. Poor communication at check out! "
