„Great staff. Good food. Overall a fun place to visit. It seems like a Florida development that didn't take off. If you stay at the casitas (Walked the semi built lots adjacent & was a bit sad), it'll be great for a couple days. Ours was bigger than expected, but a couple dead lights & loose shower tiles get noticed after the first day. „On a whim, we chose to splurge and stay at the chial reserve Villa because it looked beautiful, and once we were there, we immediately called them and booked another night. „Our group of 5 enjoyed our stay. Property was well positioned for visiting San Ignacio and Santa Elena. Property has similar name as another in area so can be confusing to locate if you're not paying attention but I don't fault the host for that.Lockbox was tricky to open for accessing keys but again a very trivial thing.Overall we were very happy with our stay.“

„The property is amazing. Only received low score based on accuracy of listing. My cabin was not one that was pictured, however I did still enjoy the cabin and it was cool and comfortable. The pool was…. Not as clear as the pictures. The food from Jack at the bar was 10/10 phenomenal. I recommend the buffet and full English breakfast. The road coming up the hill is a little rough, but manageable. I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet and comfy. Very relaxing.“

„Property was in excellent condition and very clean. Front room has no A/C but if both bedroom doors were open and the fans were turned on, it cooled down nicely. We only used the A/C when we were there during the day and we were fine. The furnishings were fine too. Neighbor hood was typical Belize with both nice and run down houses. „Getting there was tough as Google maps would only locate the street using the civic address, it recognized the house name Casa Castellanos. Location. „Everything about our stay was great. The accommodations are basic but well laid out. The beds are comfy. Having a kitchen was nice. We enjoyed the front porch. The property caretaker, Charlene went above and beyond. She even offered to send medication that we forgot to another of our destinations in Belize. They have a dog named Bushy that was a real sweetie. It was so nice to be happily greeted by Bushy every time we returned to the property. 10/10 would stay here again. “

„I cannot recommend this place enough. We always like to go off the beaten path, but we love our creature comforts too. This place delivers on both! Just outside of town, with convenient access to Xunantunich, Big Rock Falls, ATM Caves and so much more.
