„My extended family, (parents, brothers family and my family, 11 in total) stayed at the wonderful house. The property is an amazing place to gather, cook, eat and celebrate. I would highly recommend this property for large groups. We could have easily had 2 more families stay with us.“

I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place with a fantastic view.“

„My friends and I fell in love with this sweet cabin, the town of Pepin and the nearby towns up and down the river. The location of this space is excellent. Walkable to a couple of great restaurants (Harbor View Cafe! What a gem!) and the marina. The balcony had great views of the river, even with the boats up for the winter, and great sunset views. The train is a frequent passerby, but the white noise machines in each bedroom made it a nonissue. I will definitely be back! “

„Great getaway from Minneapolis. Perfect directions from owner for an out of the way location. Walks on the beach were so relaxing as well as the sunsets and fall leaf colors. We had a wonderful time.“

„Very cute. Might be helpful to stress that there is no oven or stovetop (I know the description said kitchenette), but a reminder might help. Also, a note that the apartment is up a fairly steep flight of stairs, which would be important know if someone has a disability. Four adults is stretching it for comfort, but doable. We really did enjoy our friends Christmas!“

„This was our second time on a mom’s winter getaway to this location. We enjoyed the views, the fireplace, and the fully equipped kitchen. The very large kitchen table makes it accessible for foodies to gather and share gourmet recipes and meals. We love Lion Downe! “
