„We were notified 10 min before leaving that there was a mix up in reservation. We had to be put elsewhere or cancel. A total bait and switch scheme. Dirty, couldn't even use one of the beds. Just awful. If this is an example of what VRBO has for property "landlords" VRBO is not doing their follow up well. I am fearful of using VRBO again“

„Was a great house to stay at. They accommodated my family well with my 3 dogs. Had a nice fenced-in back yard and plenty of space in the house for my family. Owner communicated with me well. I would recommend this VRBO for family too use. “

„We had 4 adults and this cozy place was nice. Very clean, great host and nice location. I would stay again with no hesitation. I live in NJ but grew up in Petersburg. This was my first VRBO experience in my home town and I was very please. Small but very nice. Four to five adults no problem.“

The host made the environment safe and accommodating from the instructions leading us to enter the property to the property being very well prepared for the icy conditions we faced. We felt like we were in a relative home from the moment we stepped through the door. The house was fully stocked with every essential you could think of and even some you would not have thought of. „We stayed here to drop my son in law off at AIT. The rate was very reasonable and the home extremely clean. We had 5 adults, a toddler and an infant. There was plenty of room for us and the backyard was great for the kids. We were minutes away from the grocery store, historic downtown (check out Dixie Cafe), the usual chain stores/restaurants and not far from the army base. The host was responsive and everything was exactly as described!“

„I loved my stay. At 66 and 76, it's hard to climb in a tall bed. The bath tub is hard to get in and out. You can't wash your feet because you have nothing to hold onto. Afraid someone will fall out of the tub or bed and die. You asked for it, now you have it.“

„Private stay with a lake house and a dock to fish off all yourself. The resident was feeding the horses and a donkey in the nearby stable and helped my daughter pet them, which was a highlight of her trip.“

„Great property manager, great communication! Property is clean and accommodating (especially for my mom who uses a wheelchair/walker due to bad knees. Only downside is the neighborhood was a little questionable… my mom heard what sounded like gunshots going off 2/3 nights she stayed. However, nothing else scary or questionable went on. So could have been a fluke! Overall, it’s a good place to stay for the price! “
