„Girls met here for long weekend. This is an older home updated. We didn’t do any cooking basically just slept there. Kitchen appears well stocked. It’s winter in Iowa, so parking of vehicles is required to be in the alley. Plenty of room for our vehicles Owner great to work with; very quick to respond to questions. We will definitely book again!!“

„Check in was easy. I did have to ask the host about the code once but it was a me problem not holding the knob right. She was quick to respond and troubleshoot. Location is lovely and the space worked well for our stay. The kitchen was well supplied, the internet worked great, and the bed was comfy.“

„Stayed here for two days while working in town. Apartment fit my group perfectly. The location is about as good as you can get with restaurants and stores within walking distance. Place was clean and really well kept. Renters brother was doin some maintenance in the building below and was very friendly and helpful as well. Can’t think of one negative thing to say. Would 100 percent stay again. “

„This house and location was perfect for our girls trip. House was excellent with breathtaking views of the water. We were so close to the water with this house that it was hard to come in at night. Would recommend this host, house, and Storm Lake to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. “

„I’ve never been able to stay in a house near Five Island Lake, so this was a cool experience. There is a great fire pit area and dock down by the lake. Overall you stay here for the proximity to the lake and the newness of the building. Which is not really offered in any other rental house in Emmetsburg. „This was our 2nd stay at the Slice of Heaven property and it did not disappoint! The home was clean, well stocked, and as comfortable as the 1st visit. A winter storm came through during this visit and the property manager informed us that a snow removal service and ice melt were available if we needed them. We didn’t have to worry about anything - our stay was perfect!“
