Auf eine Detailanfrage hatte die Wirtin nicht reagiert, der Empfang aber war problemlos: Nicht nur war sie anwesend, sondern unser Cottage war offen und schon mit unserem Namen gekennzeichnet, sodass wir auch noch spät in der Nacht hätten ankommen können. „Loved the hot tub and private garden as we had 2 dogs. The walk in the forest was lovely and convenient as on our doorstep. If we were being picky, the road leading to the property was at times quite bumpy, so caution with speed is required, but what the property itself has to offer made up for it. It is a home away from home and a good place to getaway from the hustle of life.“

„Holly Cottage is a mix of old and new with plenty of space for 7 adults who went to walk and catch up with each other.The photos don’t quite do it justice. Kitchen is large and has absolutely everything you may need. Heated floor lovely in the winter.The lounge has an easy to light log burner, so make sure you use it.We didn’t move the cars once we arrived, as so many beautiful walks right from the front door.A 2 minute walk to the village pub The Crown, serving really good food and the staff ...

„We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. “

„My partner and I (and our dog) stayed at Gemma’s lovely cottage and we couldn’t be happier! Communication was prompt, the cottage was immaculate when we arrived and fully equipped, and the village of Burythorpe was beautiful! Highly recommend popping into the pub across the street as it was lovely. Gemma also provided several great recommendations in the guest book and we are sad that we couldn’t get to everything in our weekend stay! Would definitely come back, thanks Gemma!“

„Lovely stay in well equipped cottage. Only two downsides are parking. I would prefer a permanent parking space. I didn’t know if you could have struck up a deal with the pub behind. I also don’t like a shower above the bath. I never feel safe getting in and out. That said, it was very central and great value for money. I would stay there again.“
