„Nice surroundings “

„We had an awesome time fishing, my wife's family is from the area so lots of drop in visiting sitting around the fire and telling stories and enjoying the time we had.“

„We were travelling for a double family funeral and required an extended stay. This place was very reasonably priced and was everything we required for an infant and the week that we needed it for. The add did state you got an entire home but was a 2 bedroom basement suite. The free street parking at times meant you were not even on the street and parked around a corner. Do highly recommend for a small family and we would stay again as well.“

„We enjoyed this property during fall bird migration time. It was beautifully decorated, quiet and peaceful. Furnishings were an eclectic mix of old and new, and beds were very comfortable. The upper floor is still functional as a church space while accommodations are below. Even well into fall, the grounds were lovely with petunias and other plants still blooming; it would be pleasant to spend time in the gazebo during warmer summer months.“

„I enjoyed a little getaway here. The deck right off from the kitchen was so nice, the beds were comfortable, and the location was great for just waking up and going for a stroll downtown to shop. It was a very comfortable stay. I could hear some people in the basement through the vents, but only at times. “

„We were two adults traveling with two dogs, the cabin was cozy and roomy. It was stocked with all the kitchen, bed and bathroom amenities. There was a front deck and and a back lakefront deck as well. Dorothy was communicative and helped when ever we asked any questions. The cabin had an upstairs with 4 more beds we never used. The property was lakefront and peaceful. The park was a 10 minute walk away with a beach a 1/2 mile long. We had a great stay and recommend this property.“

„Very clean, and private place. Could use some more lighting in parking area and on stairs. But otherwise 0 complaints, would rent again!“

„Cabin was very clean, coffee make, electric kettle, toaster were all included, plus all the other kitchen necessities. A lovely fire pit to enjoy too, the dogs were friendly and our young adults enjoyed the puppies too. So close to Meadow Lake Provincial Park too.“

„All was good “

„It’s like clamping but also roughing it. Lots of open space to spread out if you want. Nestled in a treed cove away from owners watching you. Extremely awesome view of the stars even though it’s just a few minutes out of the city. Comfortable bed and bedding. Cabin is Bigger than it looks on the outside. Downside is no running water. And the seasonal shower is outside which has hot water but too hot to be directly under it. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Ken and Serena. “

„I’m absolutely satisfied with my stay at this property. However, it was little bit chilly in the basement in a daytime but warm and comfortable at night. It was clean, looks like owners take care of the their property. Communication with owners was good. It is very quiet place. Definitely recommend it.“
