„Property was very clean and organized, cabin was well stocked to meet all needs of anyone staying there. I am lookig forward to stayiing there again. Host was very helpful and knowledgeable with the area. I will be booking with this host again. “

„This is a very cute place to stay, especially if you love antiques and history. A perfect get away for anyone wanting quiet and, perhaps, reading or study time. There is no TV, and due to the antique decor, I wouldn’t recommend this as a place for kids.“

Great kitchen, great bathroom with washer and dryer, two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, great deck with a view of the river, great selection of movies to watch. We slept with the windows open. „The cabin rental was a great stay. Had some connection problems with the t.v. couldn't get past the check out date. The wifi was easy to hook up. The cabin was clean and smelled fresh. Did have some problems with ants on the countertop. Great place to stay, enjoyed our visit.“

„Very secluded down a long winding road that comes into a beautiful opening within steps of the river. The property is well taken care of, the amenities are endless! We loved the swings/chairs & communal fire pit. We look forward to coming back with more time so we can utilize all that was there to offer! „We drove in from St. Louis. Less than 5 minutes to KCOM and Truman state. The recommendations in the guest booklet were great- but we would like to add that we ate at La Pa and loved it! Bethany and her husband were very responsive to my questions and requests. The bunk bed had a railing and felt safe. My 4 year old slept in the bottom and it was great. You do hear some noise from the neighbors but it wasn’t keeping us from going to sleep! “
