We return every year for our anniversary, a tradition we plan on continuing, as every experience we've had for this idyllic location has been wonderful. John and Mary have done a wonderful job in creating a cozy sanctuary. “

„We loved our stay at the Orcas Forest House. Peaceful surroundings and wonderful space to spend a few days and relax. The house includes so many fun details to discover and has everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, and having laundry on site was another bonus. Close enough to Eastsound to easily head in for dinner or shopping, but far enough out that you felt secluded. The house had an eerie, somewhat neglected feel to it. There were bugs inside, a noticeable odor, and it didn’t seem ready for guests—very bare with no Wi-Fi. „Really nice cottage. Great location. Quiet. Langley is fun. Would go go back, but: I booked with VRBO, then got handed off to Vacasa as the property manager. Way more hoops to go through than any other VRBO booking I've done. They were responsive, but demanding. Maybe good for the owner, a pain for me. Next time I book with VRBO and get handed to Vacasa I will cancel. The cottage is really nice. “

„The house was so well laid out, with views out to the Strait of Juan De Fuca. Quiet, beach walk from house. We stayed over the New Years Holiday. Warm and cozy.“

"Das Hotel hat eine super Roof-Top Bar. Der Ort Anacortes bietet viele Möglichkeiten zum Essengehen und Frühstücken. Das Hotelpersonal an der Rezeption war super unfreundlich. Wir hatten in der Tat in den USA noch keinen unfreundlichen Mitarbeiter an einer Hotelrezepion erlebt. Da muss das Management etwas machen - wir gehen deswegen auf jeden Fall nicht mehr in das Majestic Inn. Das Hotel ist außerdem ein „PET friendly Hotel“ was super unangenehm war. Die diversen Hunde in den umliegenden Zimmern hatten unentwegt gebellt. Von Entspannung keine Rede."
