„In an age of "Live Laugh Love" vacation rentals -- every property a generic flip, done up in neutral tones and mass-manufactured message art -- it was so refreshing to enter the Cabin Skowhegan, where everything seemed like a real live person had put it there. The photos of local sites, sometimes captioned. The worn-in but sturdy and inviting furniture, arranged for comfort. „Location was great for fishing Moosehead Lake and lodge has great space for the ten of us to relax and sleep and cook in the evening. Only down side was there was not enough parking for the number of trucks and trailers e we had but we made sure by leaving trailers at the near by boat landing.“

„This was our second time staying for a week at the cabin. The house was fully stocked and very clean. The backyard is a beautiful oasis whether you enjoy swimming, canoeing, or relaxing in the hammock. We are already looking forward to next summer! “

„We had a lovely stay -- quite a cozy and well-appointed cabin, in an out-of-the-way spot that let us explore the area and just hunker down and enjoy the solitude, as the mood took us. Our host was very welcoming and considerate. A wonderful spot!“

„Lisa and Troy's cabin is the perfect cozy retreat with stunning views of the lake. The space is well-designed and fully equipped, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Even the TV was already set up with Netflix, Hulu, and more. Communication with Lisa and Troy was fast and efficient. The cabin also offers easy access to Rangeley. We especially loved walking across the frozen lake. We will surely return!“
