„This property is a little ways away from a lot of amenities but was perfect for us. Was really close to our family that we were visiting. The place is just as advertised. Quiet, clean and has everything you need for a couple. We will certainly use this place again instead of a hotel in Suffolk.“

„This was a great place to stay. House was nice and clean, and a beautiful view of the James River. Judy was very welcoming, and open to communication, though we didn't need much during our stay. The location wasn't what I was expecting, but that's my fault, due to lack of researching. However, it's only a total 1 hour drive to Williamsburg, which includes a 20 minute ride on the ferry, which was pretty pleasant. Overall great stay.“

„The home has an air quality issue. I only waited a few days to review to make sure my deposit would be returned. This place has bad vibes. Upon entering the home we noticed the smell of mold. We slept in the living room on the dingy futons because the bedrooms smelled so bad. We hoped it wasn't as bad as we thought but the next day we had horrible headaches and congestion. If we didn't have a wedding to be at we would have just left. We spent three nights in this place and it was miserable. We ...

„Met up with my adult kids and their partners for a few days together. Loved the location and the space. Loved that it is dog friendly. Home has everything you need, very well stocked and functional kitchen. Wish we had more time to spend there. Highly recommend this property.“

„The space was awesome. We were 3 couples, 1 of the couples, our 23 yr old kids. Also dog friendly. Split plain and basically 2 master suites. Never felt crowded. Very nice neighborhood. „We rented the house as lodging and a central location while family and friends came to town for a local funeral. The house fully suited our needs with plenty of rooms and space for everyone to be together or take time on their own. The view of the river is amazing and we enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit last night. Overall a great experience and we’re already talking about renting it again for a few days this summer.“

„The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples.
