„Really great location on a pretty quiet lake. Local bar has great food including Saturday night prime rib. Beds comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Common space isn’t large but very well laid out to make it comfortable for a family of four. Outside space is wonderful with good privacy and Great Lake views. Roughly 50 minutes to the Superior shore and all the parks. You really feel like you’re away from it all. “

„Megan and Aaron are excellent hosts that showed great hospitality and quick communication. I was very impressed with the quality and care they put into their yurt. The wood stove and propane heater do a fine job keeping the place warm (it was 20 below outside when I was there and 65 above in the yurt), and the water system and heated outhouse are cool touches. The place is super close to the Sax Zim bog Welcome Center, so it served as an excellent home base to embark on my adventures to the bog. ...

„We stayed at Iron Ridge for 2 nights in January. There were 4 couples and the home accommodated us well. One couple did need to sleep on single bunk beds. There were large spaces with comfortable seating and a large table to hang out. The property and access to the lake was wonderful. We walked on the lake to Giants ridge to watch a ski race. It's proximity to the ski area is perfect. Thanks for a fun weekend stay!“

„We brought our families together for a UMD reunion and the house was perfect! We had plenty of space for our group. We loved the location of feeling separate, but yet fairly close to everything. The owners seem to be making enhancements that will make it even better. There was plenty of games, cooking utensils, dishes, etc. Entire process was smooth. We'll be back!“

„This Villa was perfect for a 2 day ski trip to Giants Ridge. Can't beat the location, right across the street from the hill... short 4 minute drive. The Villa is clean and has plenty of space for a group of skiers to hang out and chill in the evening. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay here again.“

They are kind and flexible. Suite Betty offers many extra touches including coffee and creamer, detergent for the washer, area recommendations for things to do, extra usb plug-ins in the bedroom, and a sweet treat. „While on a snowmobile trip from Canada down into MN we had the good fortune to book a stay at this BEAUTIFUL cabin right on the lake. It was spacious, super clean, warm, comfortable and very well appointed. Nick, the owner, was great to work with and the whole process was as easy as it could be. We’ll definitely be back next year!! …I only wish we would of stayed longer so we could have used the beautiful sauna!“

"The mattress of one bed was totally broken. That’s not what I expected when I book a room. Those essential things should be checked by the management regularly. Wi-Fi could be better on the balcony. The other amenities in the room where good, these would be a 3-4 star rating."
